The time has come. DH actually suggested that we go to Disney the other night. I was in shock!!! We're supposed to be saving money to buy a house but we're not sure if we want to stay in TX anymore so buying a house is on the back burner now. Anyway.....we just came home from our local amusement park and seeing what a great time DD(3) had, he thinks that it's time. :D We planned on going last year but things didn't work out. So this will be the VERY FIRST time seeing the mouse!!!!!! We'll only have to pay admission costs, meals and spending money. (MIL is paying for our airline tix since we won airline tix last year and used them to come see her, and DH's aunt lives in Anaheim and offered us their house.) So for that price I don't think we can pass it up. We're thinking about getting AP's and come back in 11 months. We'll only have airline tix expense for that trip. Now, I've got a question for all you DL experts......We're thinking first week of Dec. 2003. Would that be a good time? All the xmas decorations should be up and I'm sure it will be just magical. I don't think I could twist DH's arm to do Dec of this year. Although I'd like to!!!! Any advice for an overly excited newby????

Early December is a great time of year to visit! Crowds are small and Disney is decorated in it's finest. So long as you visit after Thanksgiving but before the last 2 weeks in December you'll have short lines. Look carefully at your Annual Pass choices so you don't get blacked-out on a weekend when you want to return. Have fun!:D
