Finally Friday! Freezing Math Riddle

No school here in NH.....it's currently -18 here, with a wind chill in the obscene range.....how about a little barnyard humor this morning for our good friend LOUBON....don't count the chickens Lou, just the turkeys!!!!


Farmer L decided to raise turkeys and sheep. Here is a conversation she had with my husband.

DH: "How many turkeys and how many sheep do you have?"
Farmer L: "I have 30 heads and 100 feet."
DH: "I can't tell from that!"
Farmer L: "Oh, yes, you can!"

How many turkeys and how many sheep does the farmer have?

I'm sitting here reading the Angels thread and my DW walks in. She says, "what's the riddle today?". She has never looked before but I've told her about it. So I tell her I'm going there next.

I open the riddle thread and immediately I have to explain what I did yesterday to cause the chicken remark. We are one month away from 20 years so this does not surprise her in the least. She reads the riddle and as I am reading the few posts that are there she gives me the answer and walks out and says "that was easy"!!!!!!

And that my friends is my life in a snapshot........

PS I would have gotten it myself (if she would have let me) but my first thought was there might be some 3 legged sheep thrown in given some previous riddle comments!
