Where are you in South Louisiana? I grew up in Morgan City & lived in Slidell for years after college. Boy, I miss my family & friends but don't miss the HUMIDITY!!!

Hi! Yes, the humidity is definitely bad today. I'm working in Gonzales right now. It's about 15 miles from Baton Rouge. I live in the small town of Galvez which is a little closer to BR. I think we got up into the 90's today. But luckily we have great A/C here!

cajungirl, Where in Slidell did you live and when? Lived here all my life. By the way, 91 days and the first PS tomorrow morning. Alarm set for 5:45 am to get a test ring in.
Doing California grill, Victoria and Alberts, Brown Derby, San Angel's Inn, Hoopdedoo(already got those), Garden Grill(getting rehitched), Crystal Palace, Princess breakfast at Norway, and another yet too be determined for our last night.
Goin' all out for the tenth anniversary.

Lived in Slidell from '89-'96 ... quite a few years ... lived in an townhome in Kingspoint area (behind the defunct factory outlets) ... hear that it's the slums now ... too bad. Have quite a few good friends & BIL that still live in Slidell so we're there probably 4 times a year. Not too much has changed ... think all of my favorite restaurants are still there. If you're ever at Southside, have a Bushwacker for me!!!
