After going back and forth between resorts we have chosen the bwi and are booked for sept for free dining!! Super excited! :). Any favorite things we should do there? Also where is breakfast other than the bakery?? Tia.

Kouzzina has a delicious breakfast. It is right on the boardwalk.

We usually stay club level and eat breakfast there...BWI CL is the best in disney imo. Love the cast members.

Congrats on booking BWI :goodvibes. We've never stayed there, but it is on our list to try. In addition to the pp's suggestion of Kouzzina, there is Cape May at the BC and Captains Grill at the YC for breakfast. The Marketplace at the BC has a limited selection of grab-n-go items for breakfast as well.

Thanks everyone! We love the poly, and the bc and akl but also like to try out new resorts. We just booked last night, funny thing the free dining turned out to be a better deal than the room discount, so we grabbed that. After the bwi we hop over to dcl for our first ever cruise.:woohoo:

We have our favorite, but we also like trying new resorts. Free dining sometimes comes out to be the better deal over a room discount for us too, just depends when we go, which resort we pick, etc. I hope you like BWI and have a great time on your cruise :goodvibes. We are taking our first DCL cruise in December and I can't wait after reading so many great things about Disney cruises :wizard:.

I can't imagine the cruise being anything but wonderful!:thumbsup2. Lots of people prefer the boat to the parks if you can believe it? We are going in September. What boat are you sailing on? We got the dream:cloud9:

We booked BWI for Sept as well! Super stoked!!!

ASMU/POR Dec 16-22, 2012 & BWI Sept 8-15, 2013

Great blue jasmine!! See you there:goodvibes let's hope we miss the attack of the love bugs!:scared1:

You will love the BWI.

Another option for breakfast is the Bellevue Lounge. You can see a menu here:
http://allears.net/menu/menu_bvl.htm
It's located off the lobby on the Inn side.

A favorite thing to do there is enjoy the night time entertainment they have on the BW. The kids love the BW games and getting icecream. We love to walk around the lake and visit the other resorts too.

When we stay at the BW we always walk to DHS and Epcot. We always make it there quicker than the boat!

The quiet pool at the resort is one of our favorites!

You can rent a surrey bike too. That's lots of fun.

If you haven't put a request in yet, ask for a room with an Epcot view. We had one there twice & it was awesome! We got to see the higher fieworks from Illuminations from our room!

Thanks desnik! I forgot all about the Bellevue lounge:goodvibes and thanks for the other info.

I agree......there's probably nothing to not love about a Disney cruise :). My DH and I have cruised before (although it's been a long time), but never on DCL, so I'm excited to try DCL. I have also read reports of people preferring the boat over the parks, but I think I'd prefer getting off the ship and spending a couple of nights at a resort before going home. We are sailing in December on the Dream :goodvibes. I can't wait to see the ship in person after seeing lots of amazing pics.

I'm sure your gonna love it ::yes::. We've never stayed there, but have visited many times and it is a beautiful resort.

You will love the BWI.
