I made another trip to the Crocs store again today, hoping for a new pair of Athens, since the tread is almost totally worn off of my old ones. They didn't have any in my size, though They DID have the Ithacas and Sassaris I just bought last month, though- now I wish I'd waited! They were like $15 cheaper here!

They also had the Capris now, so I ended up getting the blue ones again!

I got a size larger than last time, so they're a tiny bit loose, but I think that will work out much better!

I have SOOOO much to do this weekend! I've been so exhausted from my new job that I really just want to curl up with a good book and not MOVE all weekend, but my to-do list is huge! I can't believe I only have 5 days to go!!!

I don't think I've ever needed a vacation *this* much. I've had so much going on lately, which I'll discuss later, but man, they may have to drag me kicking and screaming to make me leave WDW!!! I'm so glad I only have a few days left to go!

I'm finishing up the ol' Pirate costume-It's nearly done!!!

I did, however just spend 10 minutes sewing a hem.... inside out!!


Here's part of my "still to do" list:

-Finish costume (rip out and resew shirt hem, finish waist cincher, etc.)
-Dye hair (we wants the redhead!)
-Paint toenails
-Charge video camera battery and find some extra tapes to take
-Clean off camera memory cards and charge camera batteries
-Load up iPod
-Make a list of some apartments to check out while I'm in Orlando if I get time
-Clean fishy tank
-Pay bills that will be due while I'm gone
-Go over packing list to see what still needs packed

I'm so excited for you Crystal! My weekend getaway for next weekend didn't work out, (too busy with work and school) but at least I've got a december weekend getaway planned!

So if you are making apartment lists, does that mean you are considering moving down here? That's pretty exciting too! Thinking of working at a disney resort...or another hotel in O-town?

I'm sure you will be posting again before you leave, but I hope you have an absolutely wonderful time! Have loads of fun (like I even need to tell you to do that )

4 days! WOOO HO'OO! I just bought our PI tickets from maple leaf tickets and got a good deal...saving about 10 bucks on the gate price! So you will def see us there on Halloween night! Do you have a particular spot in the club that you hang out in mostly? Any idea what time you'll be there? I think we will be there after 8 at least. We are probably gonna get some grub somewhere in DTD then head over there.

I hope your job is still going well, despite the early a.m.'s and the stress. Just think, in 6 month's time you'll feel like you've been there FOREVER.

You deserve this vacation as much as you need it! All the stuff you've been going through lately with your job, your ear, etc. and not to mention the months spent on this pretrippie!

You've got less than 4 days left and just remember, Disney stress is the best kind.

But I was watching FitTV the other night (I was channel surfing and this caught my eye) and this show called Shimmy was on. I thought of you. It was a show that taught you how to belly dance

Oh my.

It's just after 1am, and something about it now being technically Tuesday just made it really hit me- I leave in 2 days!! (I don't get there till Friday, but we're driving up to KC on Thurs).

HOLY...you know what!!! I have been SO busy all week with the new job, that it's just now hitting me. I mean, I've still been thinking about my trip, but it's been in a "crossing off the to-do list" kind of way. Not in a "this time Friday, I will be at the Adv Club!" way. It's just now starting to feel real.

I think that's the thing about a trip you've been planning for a long, long time. By the time it actually comes around, you've been planning and daydreaming for so long, that you've almost forgotten that it's all coming true. Really, really soon!!!

I've got two more days of work, two doctor's appointments (maybe three?), and I'm sure at least 2 more loads of laundry to do. (My big suitcase is totally packed though! Go team me!)

A moment of product pimpage- I just tried Dove's Energy Glow lotion on my legs, since judging by the weather forecast, I may actually have to wear shorts this trip. Lo and behold, my legs actually look kind of tan! Y'all have no idea- I'm so pale, I'm pretty much transparent. The palest shade of foundation that makeup companies make is sometimes too dark on me. I'm darn near glow-in-the-dark. And my legs look tan! Awesome.

I am still debating if I should preorder the Photopass CD or not. If I preorder, I save $25 (yay!). However, given that I was just unemployed for a month, my trip funds are pretty tight. I could instead wait and order the CD when I get home, when I'll have two paychecks waiting for me. I'd pay more, but it would be an extra $100 I could use now. Decisions, decisions!

It's now almost 1:30, and I have to be up at 7:00 (have I mentioned I hate this whole be at work at 8 for training thing?), so I should shut down the laptop, and snuggle up to my cat who is here in bed with me, waiting for attention.
