Just heard back from the gang at TSS that escrow has officially closed and I'm finally a member!

It took 46 days from when I originally called about the listing and made an offer. The offer was accepted that same day and the ball started rolling.

And now to wait for the deed to be recorded and to get my member information and points loaded! :cool1:

Congratulations and Welcome Home!!

Now that long wait to get that member id and see those points!

Congrats... We too found out today we closed... Since we are already members it shouldn't take long to add our extra points ...

We closed on 12/4. How long does it typically take to get member ID? Will I get anything else the mail? We are not in a hurry to make a reservation, were just curious to log on and see how the site works.

Usually a couple weeks. If you haven't heard in fifteen business days, call the broker.

DVC usually won't talk to you until you have your ID, but the brokers seem to have "back channels" if there is an unreasonable delay. This doesn't mean they can get your ID early- but it does mean they can help out if your ID gets delayed over usual expected turnaround. Mine did.

It was 12 days for me from when I was told we closed to when I received the online activation code through email. Of course, no one wanted to help me at member services since I didn't have my membership number yet. I called a few times and finally a CM gave me my club ID over the phone, which is what you need to login.

I finally received my member number 18 days after I closed.

We got a letter in today that included our member number. Letter stated that ID cards would follow. Am I suppose to have an activation code?

You should have received the activation code through email. But now that you have your member number, it's easy for you to call Member Services and ask them for it, as well as for your Club ID (which you need both Club and activation #'s to log in online).
