At last I gathered up the courage to ring the States and talk to Rosa at Paramount.
I know it might sound strange to some of you, but I was a bit apprehensive about doing it. It turned out to be so easy... They e-mail a form to you (not received it yet, I hope she wrote down the e-mail address accurately!), you sign and fax it back. That's it. Not quite as simple as when you buy ce tickets for Universal, but still relatively straight forwards!
Cost was $1150 for 2 adults, 2 children and the $30 shipping.

Ian,

Those tickets are great value:p I e-mailed rosa and found her and the company very helpful.

I'm a big fan of the fun in the sun...and Rosa. She was really helpful.

It cost us around £730 for 2 ads and 2 chd for unlimited Disney access.

BARGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!:smooth: :Pinkbounc :bounce:  :D :) :p

Karen, do you still have the e-mail address for Rosa. Even though I ordered the tickets yesterday (Friday) I've not had the confirmation e-mail that I have to sign and fax back.
Am I being a bit too impatient?
Thanks.
Ian

Apologies for my ignorance - but what are 'Fun in the Sun' tickets?

Julie

Julie, they are tickets which seem to be only obtainable from a company called Paramount International travel
link: http://paramountinternationaltravel.com/
n.b. their web site appears to be down, I've heard it'll be up tomorrow.
They give you 30 days access to all the Disney parks, including water parks (a few other benefits like free entry to Kennedy Space Centre as well), also a character breakfast included.
They cost $310/adult, £250/child
These tickets are great value if you want longer than the 10 days world tickets give you, and they don't cost that much more. The only thing missing with them is free parking.
Oh well, you can't have everything...
Ian

Thanks Karen. We've still not heard from Rosa, I've convinced myself that she must have written down my somewhat lengthy e-mail address incorrectly! I suppose I'll just have to ring her again, but I'll try the e-mail first, it's a lot cheaper!

Just after I posted I checked my e-mails. The form has come, what a relief. All I need to do now is fill it in and fax it back, then my 'voucher' will wing its way to me!
One minor problem though. It says on the form, that I need to attach a copy of the front and back of my credit card. There's no way I'm doing that, from a security point of view they (goodness knows who) would have all the information needed to use my card fraudulently. Not a chance...

Ian......Sorry for calling you Matt, your user name threw me off;)

Glad you have heard about your tickets now:)

That's alright Karen, it happens alot! LOL
Congratulations, you've just gone past 1000 posts. I think it's going to take me quite a while to get to that mile stone!

The fun in the sun tickets are terrific. We got them when we were there for 3 weeks last year. I have only one question to ask, "Does Rosa never get a day off".

Did you get around sending a copy of the front and back of your credit card, or is it if you want the tickets you have to do it. Are they actual tickets or do you get a voucher to change when you get there? Thanks for any info you can give us, we are hopefully going to buy ours soon now the dollar is starting to get a little bit better.

I e-mailed the infamous Rosa and told her what my credit card company had told me, 'on no account was I to photocopy the front and back of the card and fax it anywhere, as it gave anyone receiving that information all they needed to fraudulently use my account.' She e-mailed back and said not to worry, and that it wouldn't matter...
I still haven't got round to faxing it though, as I can't find the card I gave her over the phone (you have to put your number and expiry etc on the confirmation form. Oops. If it doesn't turn up today, I'll have to cancel it!!! (the card that is, there's no way I'm not having those tickets!)
