Finally added a family photo to my sig

After 2 years and over 2000 posts, I finally got around to adding a photo. So now you can put a face with the name and if you ever see me walking down Main Street be sure to stop and say hi. Next chance you'll have is coming up in just 9 weeks!

Posting a photo is quite easy if you have a digital camera or scanner or just a photo on CD. Lets see more of your faces.

BTW, it is not your imagination - my wife only has one eye. She is a childhood cancer survivor and lost the left eye at age 20 as a result of some botched reconstructive surgery.

And no, Funship Freddie (the Carnival Cruise mascot) is not a family member, but we will be spending another week with him in March and hope to visit him again in the future.

I had a pic of my girls on my sig for a while, but it disappeared one day. I'll need to work on getting one of all of us back on here.

What exactly is that you are posing with?

Lastly, while I'm sure it was quite an ordeal for your wife to adjust to losing her eye, it is wonderful to hear she is a cancer survivor. It is always encouraging to hear stories of medical successes (even with some unfortunate side effects).

The tall red fellow in the photo is Funship Freddie. He is the Carnival Cruise mascot. We cruised 6/20-6/27 this year. On the next to last day, we played bingo and won a free cruise for 2. We're sailing on March 26 during DD's Spring Break. Of course, once we pay for DD, taxes, airfare, etc., it will be far from free, it was still a nice surprise.

Thanks. I replaced my version with yours. Didn't realize I was over the limit. I had made it 400 pixels wide. I thought that was the restriction.

The sig rules are 400x400 pixels, and a maximum total file size of 35K. Easy to fix, and the photo looks just as good at this size as before!

And you do have a lovely family. Nice to meet all of you! (Your daughter has a great smile!)
