Finally able to read DCL Forum...

As many of you know, my DH died, well now it's 4 weeks ago. Since then I just couldn't bring myself to this forum. I posted on the Community and Camping Boards, but couldn't come here.

As of now, I'm Back!! I had envisioned this trip with DH and our 4 dd's. Perhaps because it's our first cruise, I don't know. Just makes me sad thinking I'll be the only adult in our group and I'm not used to being alone! It's a bit scary for me, but I'll manage. The girls are ReaLLy! looking forward to this. They may have disowned me if I cancelled it!

So, hello to all... did I miss anything?!

I'm so sorry about your DH and I'm glad you feel you can get back on the DCL board. I understand how you feel. We were at WDW two weeks ago getting ready to go on our first Disney cruise when we got a call that my Dad was not expected to live. We came home and got to spend some time with him before he died. I, too, had a hard time getting back on the Dis. I finally posted the day after his funeral. This weekend, we rescheduled our Disney cruise for next May 20th. DCL only charged us $85 per person rebooking fee. Wasn't that nice of them!!!!

Anyway, just wanted to tell you that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

I've been following your posts on the Community Board, but I haven't replied till now. I was so saddened to hear your news, I just want you to know you have been in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything you need, sweetie, please just call (or pm).

I hope you do go on the cruise; we will be there, too!

I usually just lurk/post in the cruise forum and don't go to the community board so this is the first time hearing of your loss.
