Finally a Snow Storm in NYC, NJ & CT.?

We have been waiting for a snow day and I think it may happen tomorrow!
It is starting to look very pretty

Yuck. I don't mind the snow, but I hate the ice that follows it, especially when I have to walk my DS to school. We would have to get a lot of snow to close the NYC public schools and I don't think this will produce enough to close them.

where in brooklyn r u? We are in Sheepshead Bay and you are right,they dont close the schools here unless there is ALOT of snow. Hubby is a teacher and he is hoping and hoping right now to be off tomorrow,but I told him no chance,lol

I'm in Buffalo NY and it's snowing here too.... only thing is we have had enough of the snow! lol i think i have almost 2 feet in my front yard!!!
but i leave in 9 days for the world so let it snow as much as it wants as long as the plane can get out!!! lol
