Finally! A final plan. Maybe lol. Here's a quick and dirty rundown...
Who: Meggie Mouse, the husband, the boy (5), the girl (2), the grandparents
When/Where/Why: VACAY! June 4-11 @ POP. We were at Disney last year, so we have a good idea of what we want/don't want to do. However, this will be our last Disney trip until 2020 or beyond.
June 3- Leave home and drive ~11 hours to hotel in FL.
June 4- Leave the hotel early, drive ~3 hours to POP. Check in early (hopefully) and some lunch at the food court, then off to Magic Kingdom! The boy has declared Dumbo to be the first ride. The girl gets an Ariel FP and Anna/Elsa FP. Meeting the grandparents for dinner at Tony's and then we will all do Splash Mt FP and maybe BTM. Going to try to find Tiana with the girl while we wait for everyone else to do SM. Then parade/fireworks the rest of the night.
June 5- Animal Kingdom Day! Early FP for the safari, then time to wander around. ADR for lunch Sanaa. Come back for Nemo, Lion King, Dinosaur FP, Everest, and Jungle Book FP. Dinner at Pizzafari or Flame Tree. Gotta track down a Dole Whip w/ rum!
June 6- Hollywood Studios! Planning on getting there early to do Disney Jr. stuff. Maybe squeeze in a ride on Toy Story before if the lines are short! We have FP for Frozen, Toy Story, and Star Tours. Lunch ??? but dinner is at Minnie's Summertime Dine. Priority seating for Fantasmic.
June 7- Magic Kingdom! Rope drop through Adventureland. Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. FP for Mine Train, Enchanted Tales with Belle and Haunted Mansion. Afternoon/Evening in Fanstasyland/Tomorrowland. Dinner at Cosmic Ray's or Pinocchio's. Probably an early night, or a long pm nap! The husband and I might get a date night in Magic Kingdom if the grandparents are up to watching the kids after a long day in the park. Hit Trader Sam's and wander the park... sounds magical to me!
June 8- Resort Day! Hoping to look around Disney Springs. Have no idea what to do/eat... or when we are going to go. We are just going to wing it!
June 9- Magic Kingdom- Rope drop through Fantasyland. Lunch at Be Our Guest. FP for Mine Train, Peter Pan, and Mermaid. Dinner at Cosmic Ray's or Pinocchio's. May stay for parade/fireworks? Depends on how tired we are!
June 10- Epcot- Rope drop... going to try to do Soarin. If the line is too long, we'll skip it and do the Land ride (the husband's fave). FP to Turtle Talk and and Space Ship Earth. Lunch at Electric Umbrella and the FP to Test Track. Nap on Ellen lol and then off to the World Showcase. Starting in Mexico, going to eat and drink around the world:
Mexico- nachos and margaritas
China- cantaloopy x2 (my fave!!)
Norway- a pastry or something? Do they have a Norwegian beers?
Germany- beer and pretzels
USA- beer
Italy- ??
Japan- oh man... I love Japan. Sushi, sake, shaved ice, edamame for the kids. I love the large store there too. The girl might pick a pearl. Is there a place to do sake bombs?
Morocco- ??
France- all of the pastries and ice cream
UK- beer
Canada- ??
June 11- Check out and the long drive home.
How's that sound? Any places you would recommend for drinks/snacks in Epcot? What about Disney Springs?
