Final Thoughts

Although we had a great time, it was quite crowded over the weekend. We will be going a week earlier next year!!

This was our first stay as DVC members , we had a 1 bedroom at the Boardwalk, we are now spoiled and probably will never stay in a studio. The extra room was wonderful, we have been to Disney enough now that we don't spend every minute in the parks and the extra room is GREAT!!!!

ALL STAR SPORTS
I was very concerned about staying here since we have only stayed at the deluxes the exception being our first two trips, where we stayed at the CBR and DXL. The price $74 a night cannot be beat if you are staying in the parks the bigger part of the time. If I were not a DVC member and I could not afford a deluxe, I would go with the All Stars for these reasons: The only things you get extra from a mod is boat rentals, 1 sit down restr., and a few extra sq feet. The All Stars are themed well with the BEST bus service of any other resort including the Cont., Poly, BC/YC, BW, and the WL!!! We never waited more than 2 minutes for a bus including at park closings. Now for the cons : The bathroom could not be smaller, I'm sure!!! The service is obvisously not as good, I waited 20 minutes for package pick up at 10:30 PM!!!

Thoughts on dining!!!
I should have made that PS for Le Cellier, we tried 2 times on 2 different days to get in with NO luck.
The Yorkshire fish shop is great with the nicest CM the whole trip working there. It didn't hurt he was cute and that accent.
Donalds Breakfast
Good character interaction, okay selection on food, but will only return on the kids insistance. The food wasn't as fresh as in past visits.
SPOODLES
We will return here twice every trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Boardwalk Pizza window
We were not impressed, we will not go back! Rude CM and cardboard pizza
Cape May Cafe
Not nearly as good as our June visit. We're not sure if we will eat here again.
Beaches and Cream
LOVED IT!! Just as good as we remeber. The best burger at Disney. BUT this place needs to be about 5 times larger than it is!

Can't remember the others at the moment but our best dining find was definately Spoodles!!!

Thanks for the final thoughts, Angel. I agree about Spoodles being overlooked. It's a great place. :)

Yes, Yes Yes and yes!

First off - I loved your trip reports. (Now I have to finish mine!)

Second - I agree with you about the food places that we both ate at. Spoodles breakfast was wonderful. I loved the bread pudding that they served there. The breakfast pizza was yummy too!

We did manage to eat at Le Cellier and it was great. I had the salmon and my DH had steak both were very good.

I never had a meal at Beaches and Cream, but I did have a chocolate shake that was expensive ($5!) but very good.

We stayed at All Star Sports also - but in the football building. There were just 3 of us (me, DH and 5 yr old DD) The room was smallish, but not bad for the time we were there. Yes you are right, the bathroom is tiny. You can't stand in front of the toilet and open the door! Saying that, I would stay there again - it is a good value for the $$, although my bus waits were slightly longer than yours.

Thanks for the report!

Angel, we are huge All Star fans. They are great value. I noticed that you are from Georgia. Periodically, WDW runs a special (generally in Jan or Sep) where some state residents (GA is always included) can stay at the All Stars for $49 a night! Keep an eye on the Sunday travel section of your paper.
