Just got word that we made it onto the Orange County Deed site and Disney has our paperwork. My resale company said give them about 12 days to get my paperwork mailed out. Has anyone called them for the information to get the membership ready before hand? If so, how long did you give them until you made the call to them?

We closed on 7/24 and were on the Orange County Comptroller website the same day. It took a few days for it to be fully recorded. We found that the new contract showed up on DVC Member Site 7/31. Points weren't quite right but a quick call assured me that they were still processing them. Points fully loaded 8/1 and we were ready to rock and roll. I've already booked 123 points out of the 160 that were banked.

If you are a new member it MAY take a day or two longer because they will have to set up an account for you. Hoping things go fast for you!!

We are new and excited. I have just read of people calling them up rather than waiting for the mail. they have been quick with everything so far so hopefully it continues. We are hoping to reserve in early january.

Mine showed up on Orange county website and I called a three days later and everything was done, mine seemed fast compared to some others. I would give them a call.

Mine was over a weekend. In the OC system on Thursday and in the DVC system on Monday.

Congrats. I also found out today that we closed. Its been a long wait. What Information is needed when calling member services to see if your account is ready.

I used the sellers contract number that was on the closing docs, they looked it up that way and gave me membership number and transferred me to IT to set up web access.
