Final Push to Goal Weight

I have been doing a GREAT job of maintaining for months now. :teeth: Unfortunately, I am starting to feel impatient to go ahead and get down to my goal weight and will have to ONCE AGAIN kick my weight loss into high gear with a stint of KISSing. I eat low carb and KISS is a bare bones approach that ALWAYS works for me. It is BORING though ... so not something I want to be doing long term. But it works everytime to get weight loss moving and since I am READY to be done with that phase... I am...

I weighed in at 142 this morning - comfortable (slightly loose) size 8. My goal is 135 and/or a comfortable (slightly loose) size 6.

Anyone want to join me and keep me company?! :)
 
Laura, you are my hero :) I'm thinking seriously about joining you. Let me read more about KISSING. Too late to start today, of course.
 
Congrats on being so close to goal! I can't wait till I am almost ready to be in the 130's. I am getting closer, only 10 more pounds to go!

good luck - it feels sooo good to be soooo close to goal!
My last 2lbs have been hanging around since early Aug. Its time to get them off!
I wont be KISSing along with you but any encouragement we can give ea other will be a big help

I too have been gaining and losing the same 2-3 lbs since July and since I've maintained the loss of those 2 lbs I have sat at 4 lbs from goal for almost a month! jeesh! I have been giving myself a pep talk too to refocus and kick start again to hit my goal for the Halloween challenge! Sooo----count me in this thread of pep talking and encouragement! send some my way (and the Whoosh fairy too if she happens to stop by your house ;))

My first committment is to visit WISH when I am craving or tempted, so hopefully you'll be seeing a bit more of me again. I have two wonderful DDs and try to give them lots of attention afterschool; but I do have some free time during the day now. If I would just stay home and quit running!

I'm with Barb and won't be KISSing - but let's keep each other going over the next few weeks, anyone else close to goal and need some extra inspiration!!
 
Here's my menu for today!

B - 3 eggs scrambled with 1/8th cup each of diced tricolored peppers and diced onions. Large mug of black coffee

L - 2 cups of romaine lettuce and 4 ounces of grilled boneless/skinless chicken breast shredded up. Newman's Own Oil & Vinegar dressing - 2 TBS

D - 5 ounces of grilled ribeye steak, 2 cups of steamed brussel sprouts with butter.

Lots of water and I am working out at Curves tonight. :)
 
WOW, KISSing sounds rough! But it also sounds so healthy and logical.... I'm gonna give it some thought before I commit :)

Your weightloss is so impressive. I hope you KISS your way right down to goal.

got weighed at friends house again this morn - trying to do it weekly
thought i had a good week (no cheats) but the scale only budged a little - maybe .25lb!
so i still have those 2lbs to get off my body in the next 5.5wks!
people have been telling me "maybe your body just cant do it!"
 
You can do it Barb - it just gets alot harder the closer you are to your goal... particularly if your goal weight is on the lower end of your body's healthy weight ranges. Just hang in there. :)
 
girls and I just wanted to let you know this thread still rests on my mind! we can do this!!! I should've read it over and over last weekend!! oh well, forward not backward! how you are girls doing on this final push to goal???:teeth:
 
Im back again
Will take my walks w/or w/out my walking buddies
Will be honest w/myself on fitday - feels good knowing what I enter for the day has been what has actually gone down the chute
Attempting to stick close to those 1200 calories w/out going over - feel better when I preplan what I'll eat for the day - making adjustments where necessary

I am down to 136 pounds this morning! That puts me at one pound from my goal! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Feeling good and definitely feeling SLENDER this week. I am going to measure at the end of the week - pretty sure my hip measurement has gone down quite a bit. :)
