Looking for some thoughts on our March Break touring plans. Will be myself, wife, DD almost 3, DD 6 months and mother and father in law. We've decided to skip going to Peter Pan first, in hopes of beating the crowds to some other places (like Ariel) later, but could call an audible and head there first if we are near the front of the rope drop dash and change the FP+ to something else later (probably Pirates or Haunted Mansion). DD almost 3 can last a full day without napping if she is on the go, occupied and well fed. Any thoughts/feedback are appreciated.

First 3 hours (9am-noon):
Pooh
Speedway (get a rider swap for later)
Teacups
Meet Ariel
Pete's 4 Character (opens at 10am)
Dumbo
Barnstormer
Mermaid
Smallworld
Peter Pan FP+11:10am-12:10pm

Lunch (12:15-1pm)
Pinocchio Village Haus

1pm-3pm
Mine Train FP+ 12:45-1:45pm (just wife and I have FP+ for this. Will get Rider Swap for later).
Carousel (grandparents will take kids here after we obtain Rider Swap and while we ride)
Philharmagic
Magic Carpets of Aladdin FP+ 1:35-2:35pm (grandparents can take the kids)
Country Bears or Tiki Room if we have time
Get parade spot and ice-cream at 2:30pm

3pm - 4pm

Parade
Jungle Cruise FP+3:15-4:15 (get 4th FP+)
Country Bears or Tiki Room if we have time

4pm - 6:45pm
This is where we will let the extra FP+s dictate our plans. We will get Pirates/Haunted Mansion if the time is really close. If not, we hope to get Mickey/Tinker Bell and ride the train from Frontierland to the front of the park. After visiting Mickey/Tinker Bell, we will go to Town Hall and get a FP+ for Buzz(hopefully) sometime after 6:30pm
Dream Along With Mickey @ 5:10pm
Move It, Shake it @ 5:40pm
dinner

6:45pm - ?
Buzz (if we have a FP+)
People Mover or Carousel of Progress- maybe
Speedway (Rider Swap from earlier)
Seven Dwarfs (Rider Swap from earlier)
Possibly Pooh or Haunted Mansion if we can get another FP+ after Buzz
Probably leave before the parade and fireworks.

Your plan is well laid out. A few quick comments:

1.) I've often found that my touring plans, which tend to look similar to yours, typically get off course somewhere due to hungry kids, bathroom breaks, or simple, unexpected events. Don't stress too much if you aren't sticking to the plan exactly. "The best laid plans......."

2.) We typically try to grab lunch a little earlier, simply because we try to avoid waiting in long lines to get food with hungry children. I think we've experienced the most meltdowns due to waiting for food. Pinocchio Village Haus will be very crowded at 12:15pm.

3.) You'll have to leave your strollers at the Frontierland Train Station when you get on, so just be aware that you will be without them until you make it back there.

4.) I would probably leave the teacups until the afternoon (1pm-3pm) and use that time in the morning for the other rides in Fantasyland.

5.) If your kids aren't fearful of the dark, please make sure you do ride the PeopleMover. It ended up being one of my kids' favorite ride.

(Sorry to hijack OP). I didn't know this. Is this just a the Frontierland train station or all of them? We were thinking about taking the train from the main station to the Frontierland station and getting off...or vice versa, but I guess we can't do that if we have to leave the stroller.

Disregards that point. Strollers are indeed permitted. My bad.

We didn't have to leave our stroller the last time we rode the train. This could have changed as this was about 2 years ago. You did have to leave your stroller if it was a Disney rented stroller, but you could take your own as long as it folded. However, we wished we had left it because it was a very tight fit in the seat with the stroller. We haven't ridden the train since then.

You can bring the stroller but you do have to fold it. We usually have ours loaded down so taking anything less than a full trip on the train (to get off where we boarded) is a huge hassle.

Yes, ours will be loaded down, too. There will be 3 adults, though. I wouldn't mind walking with the stroller while the grandparents ride with the boys. So maybe we could do that.

Also be aware that your little ones may not want to get off the train and ride it entirely around the park. At 3 years old train rides were a real treat to my kids! :)

I have it (possibly) scheduled for more than once so maybe that would help me get them off....lol.
