I can’t recall ever riding the MK river boat but I will miss seeing it in the background and hearing it. But I’m very excited for some new things at MK. Just hoping the expansion turns out better than the fantasyland expansion did (frankly, I was less than impressed).

It was iconic and again it’s a little sad to see the naturalness of the area go away but it’s also abundantly clear that Disney needs to get their gears in motion and make not only new attractions but lots of them and quality ones at that.

We come down all times of the year and especially love July 4th and this was by far the lowest crowds we can remember during a “busy” time like the 4th. Anecdotally I had a friend at Universal who said it was mobbed. And of course you’d expect that however I really think Disney needs to get their act together and move quickly. Don’t let Universal take market share without some action. I dunno we love Disney and don’t mind the same old same old because we take it easy but…I can definitely see how it could get stale for anyone not in the “love being in the bubble no matter what” crowd. Not sure if that’s coming across the way I intend but regardless this is the time for Disney to innovate again and build build build!

TL:dr sad to let go of Disney nostalgia but it needs to be done to make new and exciting attractions.

PS and while you’re at it put something where Stitch used to be! Greatest location and nothing!

I will miss the boat far more than TSI. But ultimately it’s the water features and the “natural” beauty of the area that I enjoy, and if the new area looks anything like the concept art, it will be beautiful too.

And tbh. I am glad MK will have something unique again. I don’t need or want it to be a carbon copy of DL and I think moving in this direction for Frontierland makes a lot of sense. Heck it will even tie the land in more with Wilderness Lodge the way Adventureland = Poly, Tomorrowland = CR.

maybe they can still get some water somewhere for us to enjoy! haha

I saw that earlier and tbqh I’m still not vibing with the doomerism about this project and wringing hands based on 1 person’s speculation about what is or isn’t going to be there seems pointless to me.

I just like the "fake feeling" of a sea breeze when we have water nearby HAHAHA

And babbling brooks are pleasant to listen to
