I wasn't expecting another issue but the final issue of Disney Magazine arrived today. (Very good timing as this is the month my subscription expires.)

Has anyone got any ideas?

I paid for a 2 year subscription 6 months ago. I don't want to swap to the Disney Adventures as we already get that one, and although I see the emails for Family Fun and enjoy them I don't think I want the magazine.

I suspect it's going to cost me more money than it's worth to try and talk to someone at Disney (and how will they refund me? probably by cheque which I can't cash!)

So I can't swap to Adventures as I will then get two copies a month but I wonder if that's the lesser of the evils as at least I will continue to get it when my subscription would have run out (5 months' time)

What is anyone else doing?

I am officially gutted it has finished :(

Karen,
Not promising it's a good one but here's an idea--Have you been given the option of extending your current Disney Adventures subscription by adding the number of months owed for the duration of the Disney Magazine subscription time? Perhaps that would be more to your liking than than two Adventures issues each month. I know Disney Magazine was a quarterly and Adventures is a monthly, but maybe you could work something out that way. You're probably right about it not being worth the hassle to get a cash refund. But I say, make them send you something! If you don't want it, get it anyway and donate Family Fun to the school or public library, your doctor's waiting room or a friend. My subscription was through Spring 2008 and you've just reminded me, I need to extract something from the Company for the money I sent them!

I got mine this morning :( I'm also gutted it's the last one, I used to love getting the magazine thru the door. I can't remember how much of my subscription I've got left (it was a buy 1 year get a year free deal) but I think I'll swap it over to Disney Adventures.

Thanks Susan :)
I was trying to avoid the cost of an international call (I don't expect I can use the Freephone number from here) but that may be the best option that you've suggested. Speculate to accumulate, right? ;)

Anz - not trying to put you off or anything but as regards Disney Adventures I'm not sure there's much in there for adults. Amber (my 8 year old) loves it. I believe it is targeted at ages 8 -12 but I would say it probably appeals to the lower end of that age range. I often have a quick flick through but I definitely would not buy it for myself (if that makes sense?)

Thanks for that Karen, I didn't realise it was for such young children. I shall have to cancel the subscription - I must have a look online and see how much I've got left.
