Final cost of DIS-CON

I know that standard rooms at the Swan are $129, and the registration deposit is $150 - but I haven't heard anything lately regarding the final price of attending DIS-CON. CC - do you have those numbers?

I thought I recalled hearing $210.

Pete originally posted "a little above $210 for adults" - but never mentioned the child's price. Later he posted $219 for adults, and that was the last I heard.

We have to get a more definite number of how many people to expect because I can't book the events without approximates. We're working on it and when we have the final number it will be posted here and stuck for all to see. I'm working on it!

I understand that you won't know the exact cost until you have a final count of attendees. On the other hand, I'm sure there are people out there who won't commit their non-refundable deposit until more information is forthcoming. Guess it's one of those catch-22 situations!

Well I do not expect that cost to skyrocket...and do understand it being based on numbers. I am confident the information will be posted asap...It will be awesome, and from the looks of the Tentative Itinerary and mini meets its gonna be!

Nancy...just wait and see...people I am sure are doing everything they can. This is not something that can be easily thrown together, if it is going to be good. Lots involved I am sure. Catch 22 or not...we have to wait until things are set...Just relax..you are in the same boat as the rest of us.

Is there a thread somewhere to indicate interest in attending? Or some place on the DIS site page? I don't stop by here all that often and not sure if I maybe missed a previous signup of sorts.

Is there a high/low range that the price may range between, depending on attendance levels??

Dan, I just got involved with this last week, so I am out of the loop on that one, sorry. I'm trying to do my best guessimates but I have one more pricing to get before I can even give a range. As Pat said, I think (hope) it will be around what Pete said. After I stop playing phone tag with this contact, I should be able to get a better idea. Hopefully it won't take longer than a week. I understand the desire to hold off until you know for sure and I will try to get it out to you all as soon as I can.
