Hmm.. well 99% of reviews I have heard from Chef Mickeys dinner have been terrible.. I suggest not going there.

I'd choose 1900 Park Fare dinner over WCC. I LOVED it there in April and i'll be going again my next trip.

As for Narcoosees or Kona, it depends, do you want seafood? narcoosees is a seafood place. Also, you are staying at the GF so i'd go to Kona so you can see the Poly, it's great there. :)

Hello!!!

I think your ADR's look great.

Chef Mickey's: Contrary to the prior person's postings, I would say almost all of Chef Mickey's reviews that I've read were great..I think I've read two total bad reviews. Maybe we are reading different things?? hehe, I hope you go and have a fantastic meal...Plus you have little kids which will LOVE the characters :thumbsup2

Main Street Bakery, yuuuum! I love the ice cream sandwiches- warm cookies and whatever ice cream you want inside!!!

Peco's Bill: I ate there in November 2005 and got a BBQ pork sandwich..It was super yummy, much better than expected!!! everybody in my party loved their food and the fixin's bar!

Coral Reef: Heard mixed reviews about this place- but DH and I decided to eat there for our September trip...We are mainly going to experience the atmosphere, it seems very cool!

Whispering Canyon Cafe: I loved this place and it is so fun! We got the all you can eat skillet which is HUGE anyways and didn't get a refill of anything. =)

Epcot Food & Wine:: I looove the cheese soup at Le Cellier. They have samples of it at the Food and Wine festival, make sure you try it if it appeals to you- it's addicting!!

I've never tried any of your other places, so please review them when you get back!!

Have a magical trip!!! :goodvibes

Given the ages of your kids, I would go to Whispering Canyon Cafe--we were there in Nov 05 with DD age 6 and DS age 8 and they LOVED it. We also really liked Ohana at the Poly, if you are looking for any alternatives. Have a great trip!!

Great choices for the most part. The only place you've planned at which I haven't eaten in the last 10 years is Pecos Bills, and I want to check it out this year.

I'm a little worried about surfing the F&WF kiosks for such a young family for dinner on Day 5. While it's very affordable and incredibly yummy (and fun!) for adults... I... Well, I hesitate mostly because *my* kids were such picky eaters when they were young. (And now, even though they're older!) Build in time to swing by a nice, conservative (read: *boring*) counter service place for the tykes... if they're not happy with food-hopping. As in all things Disney, just... be flexible. Know what your options are, and know when to throw in the towel and cater to the kids' needs. Y'know?

And I have to say, in regards to the poster above, the Day 4 dinner that's a toss-up between Whispering Canyon and 1900 Park Fare? Wow. I would have to flip a coin. My family loves *both* places -- ambience *and* food. Good luck with your decision; I know you will love either restaurant!!

Isn't the planning the fun part? No, wait, I'm sorry -- being there is the fun part! LOL!!!

Thanks for the great feedback. Yes that is good advice about the F&WF. WE had considered that and will probably get the kids something at the Liberty Inn. Does anyone have an alternative CS at Epcot-World that the kids might enjoy for a change?

And Chef Mickey's is a must for us. It is the 1st dinner every year we go, kind of a tradition. Good way for the kids to get to see the characters without going to the park first day.

Thanks again.

Just back, and we ate at a lot of the places you have ADRs. We started with a dinner at Chef Mickey's, and it was great. What a fun tradition for your family!

As for your other choices, I'd definitely do Whispering Canyon. It was our favorite meal of the entire trip! The food was delicious, and our kids loved the stick pony race around the restaurant.

The only restaurant where we had a really bad experience was Coral Reef. Even with an early ADR for a 5:00 dinner, we waited 35 minutes for the first available table. Service was really sloooooooooooow. Those tanks only entertain the kiddos for so long because the restaurant was filled with little ones who were screaming and crying. Just something to think about... If you end up there, I will say that the chocolate wave dessert is incredible and you don't need a tankside table to have a great view of the fish.

Have a wonderful trip! :)
