Film sets at Universal Studios?

I was reading that Universal Studios is a working studio. Has anyone ever seen actual filming going on while there? And does anyone know if there are better days of the week to be there and possibly get see tv or movie making in progress?!

I've seen filming there a number of times. Once it was a feature film that was using the alleys in the New York set of USF.

There's much less filming being done at USF (and Florida in general) than there used to be. Mostly what you'll see (if you see anything) is the filming of TV a commercial.

That's the only thing I got pictures of filming going on, I seen them taping a Toyota commerical and I seen them filming Creeds "My Sacrifice" video at Mel's Diner, I also seen them taping the HHN's 12 commerical in NY.

I think you can call guest services to find out if there is anything being recorded/filmed.

Wow great pictures! And thanks for the replies. I think I will give guest services a call. It doesn't hurt to ask. Our dates are already set, but since we are going over a long weekend, I was partly curious if it mattered to go on Friday rather than one of the weekend days. Even seeing a commercial would be cool.

Slime Time Live is filming right now. They film Mon - Fri I think it is from 4 - 6 pm.
