I've seen mention of this in several threads. Exactly what are these papers, where/when do you get them? Is there a stack or just one or two? What is their purpose - what info do they require?

I'm definetly a planner and would like to have mine filled out prior to arriving at the port....but can't help wonder why others wouldn't.

According to one thread, you lose your place in line if you don't have them filled out...

Just trying to figure out all of the details so that I can relax and enjoy the cruise!

You know, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why people didn't have them filled out ahead of time, either. I know some people have problems getting theirs and so HAVE to fill them out there because they don't have them, but other than that... the paperwork is so minimal I can't imagine why you WOULDN'T just get 'er done!

Ooh - a new smilie. Have to add her, even though she may not be appropriate... :maleficen

I know how you feel! Just look for these in your Disney packet. If I remember correctly, you need to fill out a couple of "cards" for each person traveling and then one more for the person responsible for the charges for the party. There's not a lot to fill in and the instructions were very clear, I thought.

It depends on how many people are in your party and whether you are responsible for filling them all out (I had to do one for me, for Dh and for DS so it took about 10 mins max). There is personal info (ie name address etc), info on charging priviledges (ie credit card info to be filled out for charging) and I can't remember what else. When we went into the terminal there was a person casually checking that your forms where filled out prior to getting into line. If you didn't have them filled out they sent you to one of many round desk/podiums to complete the forms. I personally think this is great as I too cannot understand how you could not complete them beforehand.

Thanks everyone...I think i can relax knowing they will come with my "docs", I have plenty of time to fill them out and that it's minimal information.

DISers are the best!!! :Pinkbounc

These documents are available online and come in your document package.
Where are they online? I know I did them online when we cruised with RCCL in May and it was great. What a time savings! :cool1:

But that is really uneccesary, unless your docs won't be arriving at your home.

The online forms are just blanks to print out....you cannot send them electronically like RCCL or Carnival's online checkin process.

I read you also need a Bahamian customs card filled out even if you are not planning on leaving the ship. Is this included in the docs that are sent out?

That form was also in my packet of documents. The funny part was, we went on the West Coast trip. :confused3 Actually, I saw a few other posts around that time complaining that Disney had not "re-tooled" the ticket books for the West Coast. It was probably too expensive for them to do so just for the summer (anything to keep those high costs down is okay with me!) but it was a little odd to have all that info in there about ports we weren't going to. Confusing, too. At first we were worried we had somehow signed up for the wrong cruise! :earseek:
