how do you fill the mickey head/ name with a picture in the backround? i can't figure it out, i have photo shop pro, can anyone help me???

I have Photoshop Elements and Photoshop and you do it the same as you do letters. If you don't know how to do that, there are others better than me (Michelle and others. But you open the picture you want in the Mickey head and copy it to a new layer. Then put the Mickey head in as a layer and select just the head. I use the magic selector outside it and invert the selection. Then you will either make a layer mask or right click and select layer as copy. The new layer will be a copy of the old layer. Then you can cut and paste it into a new image or delete the old stuff out of the old image, whichever you want.

I hope these instructions make sense. I am not very good at it and leave those designs to others. I keep thinking I should practice more, but I never seem to get around to it.

Good luck and have fun with it.

Good Job! I'm glad they were clear. I am still really slow about it. I was afraid I woud miss a step. I don't do it that often myself.

for the OP. I think you have paint shop pro, not photo shop pro. If that's the case, open the mickey head & open the picture you want to use inside the mickey head. Click on your magic wand & click inside the mickey head. I usually do selection, modify, contract by 8 just to have a little black outline. Then click on the picture you want to use inside of the head. Copy the picture & go back to the mickey head. Right click & choose paste into selection. Voila there you go ;)

Does anyone use Microsoft digital image 2006 standard? I've got that and used it to personalize many of the blank disigns but have not been able to figure out how to do anything this advanced. I found this cool clip of Tinkerbell (black, white and pink- not sure who's it is) and would like to put it into a mickey head shape...any help or suggestions? Thanks
