Fill it up souviners in Downtown Disney

The older arms will not hold the pieces.

As an offshoot...when you get your PH parts, be sure to get arms! Left and right. More than just one pair, if you have more than one potato head to "dress".

I just had the best time with the PH filling at Disney's California Adventure...can't wait until we can finally go to WDW and do some of the things they have there (and get a box filled with the parts they don't carry at DLR!).

When we were in DTD last May I picked all the My Little Pony pieces I wanted and found my spot on the floor to work on arranging them to fit. That's when a very friendly CM came and asked if he could help me. He fit twice as much in there as I ever thought possible. I was in awe. It was obvious he had done this many times before.

That would have been a good idea! Unfortunately, I didn't. I was too worried that DH was getting impatient with me. He wasn't. He had the kids outside in the fountain.

Do they change the available accessories for the little ponies or mr. potato head at all or would they still be the same ones my inlaws picked up for my kids in the last couple of years?

I wish I didn't get rid of that MPH!

do they have any Lightning McQueen type accessories for M. P. H.? I want to bring some a special souvenier for my youngest nephew who is 2 and just LOVES "Cars".

We had a blast filling both the Potato Head box and the Little Pony box at DTD. I had my hands full with both kids and one of the CM's was great... she decided I didn't fit nearly enough stuff in the boxes so she emptied them out and showed me the best strategy for filling them. She ended up fitting one of every single accessory and 3 ponies in my daughters box... she was so sweet! Have fun, it's a great souvenir!

Does anyone have any idea how much it costs to fill a cup with Legos at the Lego Store at DTD? I know DS will want to do this. I want to make sure he plans to bring enough money.

This is what we did last year (eta - oops! I mean 2 years ago!) - we even bought a few extra Potato Heads at thrift stores CHEAP so that all of the kids could make Potato Head creations with the box of parts (that we STUFFED full, it was pretty comical!) - and then we proudly displayed our Disney Potato heads in the window of our hotel room.

It was SO cute!

WOW that's a decent sized box, too! I envisioned they'd just give a small one! But I guess for $15-20 they ought to give you plenty! Looks like you got a lot of things crammed in there! Way to go! And thanks for posting the pix!!! I LOVE them!

at Downtown Disney. BIG Disney store near the Lego shop. It also houses one of the Bibbity Bobbity locations. And has all the princess dress and crowns and things.

There is also a WOD store in New York not far from Times Square.

Does anyone know if you have to put the actual potato head or my little pony into the box? Or can you just stuff it full of accessories?? Someone told me that a CM made them put a pony into the box...(What I mean is if I don't want to buy a potato head or a pony because we've brought some from home, can we just fill it with the other 'stuff'?)

Also is it possible to fit one of every my little pony accessory into the box and actually get the lid to close? My three year old is beyond excited about doing this!!

I'd like to know this too.....someone else suggested bringing the pony and potato head from home so you can cram more in the box. So I'd assume it should be ok. Not sure why they'd care, really. But I'd like to know just HOW MUCH you can cram in there.

Is there anything else besides Potatoe Heads and MLPs??
