On thing to remember about the Kobe steak at V&A is that you are paying an EXTRA 35 dollars for it.
Up to a few years ago,V&A used to have a filet as one of the 4 possible entrees.
Now,you cannot get a steak at V&A unless you pay extra $$$$
I would go for the steak at Le Cellier and than try something different at CG. My favorite entree at GC is the Pork tenderloin w/ creamy polenta. I have had it lots of times and never been disappointed. On our visit last year I tried Ostrich for the first time and it was fantastic.
I found the mushroom risotto filet at LeCellier to be way too salty. I really really wanted to love this steak, but wasn't impressed. CG's is good but you cannot compare it to the Kobe beef at V&A's which is outstanding!
I prefer the steak at Le Cellier. I substituted the risotto for the cream cheese mashed potatoes. It was a very tasty meal! The steak at the CG had BBQ sauce on it, which I was not a fan of. I have never been to Victoria and Alberts, so I can only imagine how tasty that steak would be!
Last steak we had at Le Cellier was inedible. Tough, gross, overcooked. We've had good steaks there in the past - and once, years ago, a great steak. Generally, though, its an Outback quality steak.
Salmon is a good choice there, generally.
We liked the CG steak, but have only eaten there once. Jiko has an excellent steak as well.
