Fiji longhouse- GV or Lv ????????

Just wondering if Fiji longhouse at the Polynesian is a garden view room when facing the marina. Tikiman's website says it is but I booked a package through
AAA and they told my TA that marina view is a Lagoon view room. Was hoping to get view of marina and volcano pool in October.....

I hope so!! Because this is what I am requesting. Non-smoking, 3rd floor, Fiji. If not, then I am happy with Samoa facing the volcano pool.

As far as I know, all of Fiji is garden view even though the marina side is looking at water. We're checking in at the Polynesian on Monday and Fiji is my 2nd choice. So I'll see what I can find out from the source.

Fiji is only garden view. We've stayed on the side that faces the marina and the side that faces the luau and its always been a garden view room (trust me.. its the only room I can afford at Poly)

Fiji is our favorite- the marina side is great, we could see the electric water pageant, space mt and the contemporary.

The other side faces the luau and the beach. We could sit on the bed and watch the monorail go by! You can sit on the balcony and listen to the luau music in the evening.

Fiji is an awesome longhouse to stay in no matter which side you get.

Ilovestitch is right. Both sides of Fiji are garden view. Also there is no category of view at the Polynesian called marina view. There use to be a long time ago but no longer.

Figi is GREAT! Best view, location close to everything, and outstanding mousekeeping! We where very happy with our marina room. And it's Garden View!!!!!

I had a cm 2 years ago that thought it was LV too? I guess its natural to think it would be water view. I always did, that's why I never requested it prior. Just assumed it was LV. When we had LV we always got tahiti, thou?

You will love figi! Have a great time. Either side is lovely. That is a great "quiet" beach behind it. And your very close to the walkway to the GF if you want to go over there for something. Nice view of the castle and fireworks from the beach.

Maybe we had the same CM. He mentioned Fiji and he was going to put us there, but he changed his mind and said Aoteroa. Maybe he thought Fiji is LV. After walking around the Poly grounds, I learned that Fiji is a great location. I love walking by the marina and the beach is sooo close to the bldg. Now, I wish I could've asked the CM to just keep us in Fiji. I want Fiji next time! I think it is one of the best location!
