I'm thinking about taking figure skating lessons. I quit them before because I kept falling and I couldn't skate backwards. But I want to give it a try again.
Ice skating looks really fun, but it also takes a lot of stamina to keep going in a program. If you think you want to take lessons again, go for it, and good luck!
Haha when I was 8 or 9 I took Figure skating lessons
In my first lesson...my mom was just taking me around the ice to get used to it
and then she told me to hold onto a wall while she did a lap herself...and well I wanted to go..so as my mom left I yelled WAIT and caught my toepick and need like 30 stitches in my chin
Then 5 weeks later I was on my bike tried to jump a naturall ramp in the sidewalk and you guessed it fell chin first into the pavement..needing yet another 30 stitches like a little bit below it....
But that's not the point!
Figure skating is fun and beautiful
and you should go for it!
Good luck
I am here if you have figure skating questions
I am in no way shape or form professional but I do know a bit about private lessons and whatnot
I say go for it! I've been ice skating once. I didn't fall, but I don't think I made it around the rink once... I'm not the most athletic person. But it looks beautiful. It must feel great to be out there, too.
I have figure skating lessons. I have been for about four and a half years. I can do quite a few jumps an spins etc. In competitions I have won two bronze medals a one gold (I was really happy when I won that). It does tire you out during programs but is is fun. I would try again. You can ask me questions, I don't mind.(I know quite a bit)
