Figaro Fries changed

I was at MK this week and went to Pinocchio Haus. I ordered the Figaro Fries and they came out minus the lettuce tomatoes and dressing. I asked the CM behind the counter and she said it changed a week or so ago. I asked really nicely if she could help me out since I had no idea they had changed. She went in the back and got lettuce and tomatoes for me and told me the ranch was on the condiment counter. She told me there were people around the restaurant wanting comments and that I should tell them how disappointed I was.

Oh no! That's awful! Why does Disney keep messing with food items that people love?!

What else is on the Figaro Fries without the lettuce, tomato and ranch? Is it just bacon and cheese now?

Yep, from what I understand, it's bacon and cheese. Nekkid Figaro fries. :sad2:

What a bummer. We had them for the first time last trip - and they were yummy.

Here I thought that Disney was working on healthier food choices. Removing the two vegetables from the fat laden Figaro Fries seems to be going in the opposite direction!

Well, I for one am pleased about that because I would order them without the tomato and the dressing anyway - saves me doing that now ;)

That's really disappointing, I will be in WDW in July and I was hoping to get some of the Figaro Fries as I've never had them before, but if they are just cheese fries (with bacon) I will probably skip it.

Same here. I can get those at home.

Disappointing.

I am kind of bummed about this change too. I liked them because they were different. Like the PP said, they always ordered sans lettuce and tomato. Seems to me like they could have left the fries as is and let those who like nekkid fries order them that way. Whenever I saw the fries pictured or in the restaurant they had lettuce and tomato. I'd assume that the majority of the public got them loaded.

This sounds like another cost savings standardization of Disney's food.
