Fiestaware

I am needing to get some new dishes to use for everyday. I really like the look of the Fiestaware but I am hesitant to spend that kind of money on dishes. I am usually the type that is happy with the dishes in a box sets at Wal-Mart. Is the Fiestaware really worth it?

I need at least 6 place settings (maybe 8) so it will be a bit of an investment. Also, do you usually get just one color or do you like to mix/match 3-4 different colors?

becka, I LOVE the fiestaware. I don't have any, but my mama does. She found some at a second hand store and only paid a couple of dollars per plate. So that may be an option. She also told me that Kohls sells it. She has all different colors. I really like them!

I love my Fiestaware. The fun is you mix colors. Kohls, Kaufmans, younkers, CRacker Barrel, Jcpenny in catalog, Marshall Fields, Bloomingdales All sell it. I actually prefer it over my corning/corelle ware from Walmart.

I love mine! I make it a point to mix the colors at a place setting. I have service for 8, plus serving bowls, water pitcher, gravy server, etc.

Fiesta??? Did someone say Fiesta???

I don't have any vintage stuff, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I have. I mix and match colors. I have 2 place settings of 6 colors.

So far it is holding up really well, and I love it.

You can get place settings on sale for about $20 (less if it is a sale and they have extra coupons, etc)

I love my Fiestaware. I have always liked it because that is what we used at my grandma's house. I got my own but when she was selling her house I made sure my dad knew I really liked her old stuff. She got rid of lots of stuff and gave all her old dishes to me so now I have a bunch of new Fiesta that we use everyday and I put most of her vintage Fiesta in my china cabinet where it looks very pretty.
