Was wondering if anyone wanted to try and plan anything to hang out one day/evening/night whatever... this will be our first GG and we would love to meet everyone who will be there.

One thing DH and I were talking about was possibly setting up a night for everyone to meet up and have a few drinks/snacks whatever...

Would anyone be interested?

We are arriving very early Saturday morning and will be there for the week. Anytime but Friday night is good for us.

Since I started this MDGG and now we're going to Ginnie Springs that makes all of your ressies null and void. Dina will make sure everyone is refunded their deposit. Sorry I didn't know the person making the ressie had to be there in person to check in first. Maybe next year folks.

Well we won't be at MK on memorial day- so if that is the meet my question is moot. LOL
We'll be there 23rd-30th if anyone wants to meet up anytime. We're avoiding the parks on Memorial day though.

I was thinking something more along the lines of all the Dis'ers that will be at the Fort could all meet up at our site one night for drinks and snacs etc. than to meet up at one of the parks.

When we have a get together everyone is welcome. You did not need to be part of the MDGG to join in. Of course, bringing some beer along will help with the welcome part.....

Am I the only one on the group ressie who arrives on Thursday? I had bumped mine up by a day and they are giving me the group rate, but if everyone checks in a day later, does that mean they will stick me somewhere else? Or are they going to make me pack everything up and move the next day? lol. I don't know why but I am starting to panic about this trip. And Donnie, that was not funny. Good grief.

No, you'll just be the first one there in the group. You'll probably notice lots of empty sites around you on Thursday night.

On our T@B group last year, there was a couple that arrived a week before everyone else and then they slowly noticed the Fort emptying those sites for the rest of the bunch to show up.

Well first off- shoot, I wish I'd known about this and joined y'alls group gathering in the first place! LOL

And secondly- thanks for the welcome.
We'll be there sometime midday Saturday and don't plan on going to the parks or anything really the day we arrive. If y'all get together that Saturday night we can make it- once we get our site set up but HOPEFULLY we'll get that done fairly quickly.
