For MK fans...just wanted to share a new book with you. It's called, The Imagineering Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. It was written by Imagineers and shares fun and interesting facts about the park. For instance... page 60:"hidden in the propping of the Frontierland Train Station, you'll find a wooden leg labeled Smith, a sly reference to one of the silly jokes in the floating tea party scene in Mary Poppins." The book, which is $9.95, also contains lots of great pictures. Enjoy!

I actually bought that a few weeks ago, read it in a night it was so good. As a disney veteran, I now have lots of little things to look for when I go back thanks to this book.

could you get this book at a bookstore, for example barnes and nobles or borders?
:goodvibes

this book looks cool

I bought it at my local Barnes and Noble about 4-6 weeks ago. It was a good read; I recommend it

My DS16 collects "Imagineer" books. (Dreams of being one someday.) This will be a great Christmas Gift!!

I agree that it would be a great gift. Thanks for sharing! :flower:

This book is awesome. I have been waiting on it since it was originally supposed to come out months ago and I have to say it was well worth the wait. They are in the process of putting together one for Epcot as this will be a series of all the WDW parks....can't wait for the folllowups. :wave2:

Bought it, read it on the plane, loved it.

Hope there is more about the other parks.

Fantastic! My DD 7 is extremely creative. One day last year, I overheard her tell her brother and sister, "Today is art day. Let's make as much art as we can!" She grabbed up a few pipe cleaners, twisted them up for a few seconds, and said, "Look, I can make a monkey." (And it was a darn good monkey!)

I've taken her to Disney 5 times so far, and my secret wish for her is that she'd like to be an Imagineer when she grows up! :wizard: Time will tell....I love that your DS dreams of being an Imagineer one day.

I'll be checking out the book, too.
