Bright eyes Great to see you!!!!!
Wow, awesome weight loss. I don't give up caffeine for anyone, and haven't checked out the flat belly diet. I went off of my lyrica, and lot the weight I had gained when I went on it. Thankfully. I have been having some wicked migraines with the change. My periods go 2 months without and then last 3 weeks. Ugh!
I am walking a mile on the treadmill every morning, and then walk the dog 3 or 4 times a day. But can't seem to get into the weights. I need to.

I think I have asked you this before, but you know how our brains can be. lol
How much weight did you lose when you went off the lyrica?
I am planning on seeing my dr to see if she can change my meds so I can lose some of this weight. I am almost done school, so I will wait until then. But I am anxious to see if that will jump start my wieght loss.

I still get the swelling of the face, however lately my symptom has been larger areas of my skin burning. Last night I was at school till 10 and every five minutes had to check the whole left side of my face from my forehead to my chin, just burning and painful like I had a big rash or chemical on my skin. But there was nothing there. I used to only get tiny tiny spots for a min or so - a few times in a row - then nothing.
Iread your message on the angiodema, I will look into it, but do you have to be swollen all the time? I am only sometimes as mentioned above?
But I still haven't been checked out for my gallbladder which I was supposed to do a long time ago.
I hope you find answers - but you for sure will find support here. These gals are great.![]()

I'm hoping more muscle mass will mean less weight gain when I crash
. They can be very expensive but QVC has really good ones for great prices. I cant seem to do it when the kids are around though. Because it is a very fluid motion and by brain is distracted very easily when the kids unexpectedly yell etc I lose my rhythm and have a hard time getting it back. It is very hypnotic once you get going with the soft music on the dvd so its a bit of a meditation as much as exercise.etc. I cant imagine trying to do regular Pilates or Yoga. I realy need the consistent support of the machine.

Ok all I need an intervention! LOL It is getting close to spring and every year around this time I get PUPPY FEVER!!!
I start seeing them everywhere and I want one. I already have a 4 yr old cat, who I think would adjust, he's pretty easy going.
But I have never owned a dog. I could afford to get it spayed, but animals can cost alot and my cat hasn't really cost me much in the way of vet bills, but I would love it so much.
I would love to have a little shi poo or even a long haired chihuahua or a maltese! I love them all, they are so cute and it is killing me not to get one!!!!!
PUPPY FEVER!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you are all doing well, Tigg good job on the weight loss and the excercising!!
I had to put her in my room and separate her from the rest of the family to get it done. Ten hours can you believe how stubborn she is over doing a couple of loads (just folding)

Needless to say this irratated me and made it so I couldn't even try to do the Pilates since it is in my room.
I love the tween years

Maybe I can help on the puppy fever. We have tried twice to take in stray dogs we found over the past 5 yrs. Both times we had to bring them to our no kill shelter because I ended up having to walk them and clean up their frequent accidents more than I could tolerate. Even trained dogs have accidents in a new home since you and the dog need to learn to read each other a bit before you get it right. I love dogs but since I'm the one home I'm the one who had to walk them in the rain/cold. If its 3 am and they need to go you have to get up and go out not too apealing this past winter. Little ones that yelp would trigger a migraine for sure. We decided if we ever wanted another dog we would have to have an invisible fence and automatic doggy door. They are ALOT more work than cats which you can set up for several days with automatic feeders/water bowls and just check water/food/litter levels.Dogs really are more like children in the commitment it takes to care for them. If you are ready for another semi independent child then go for it.

SIGH
Do you see how very hard I am working to rationalize this purchase?
Eduke, I am so sorry to hear about your kitty and the lung surgery! Please keep us posted on the lil one!
I know what you say about it being such a large committment, and I think that is what's is keeping me from it. I know IF I got a dog, I would definately do everything Ineed to take care of it, BUT my life would be more free IF I didn't. That is why I am so conflicted.SIGH
Thanks for the replies. I don't think NOW is the right time, but they are sooo cute. I will keep looking at the ads to satisfy myself. I guess I am just worried about what will happen with the dog if I go on vacation. But then I think I already have a cat, so it's the same thing.
I guess what keeps me from doing it right now is the cost. I would want to take puppy classes or training cause I do not know the first thing about training a puppy, and the grooming costs. But then I think if I am home now cause I am not working alot then I would be home and have time to train a dog.Do you see how very hard I am working to rationalize this purchase?
I only have a few more weeks of school left, so I think it would be the perfect time. As for affording vet bills, I have never neglected Sylvester. He was just at the vet yesterday and has to get his teeth cleaned cause he's showing some plaque build up.
Ahh decisionns, decisions. Yes, I think I would be the one who ends up taking care of it. But then again, it would force me to go out walking every day - if even for a bit.
I will keep you posted. I just don't understand if I know they are so much committment, then why do I still want one sooo bad??
Maybe you should set up your home to be a dog sitter for awhile. You could make some money get your doggy fix and see if you can really handle the extra commitment. Especially if you live in a place where you cannot put them outside unattended like a fenced yard. Then you could use the money to get your own doggy if it works for you.
We saw Alice 3d
Didn't even dare get on scale sure gained 3lbs water over the weekend but I know in two days it will be gone and i'll be down another pound so I'm focusing on that. 2lbs a week and I'm happy
I've been working on my dining plan and stressing about our upcoming final payment both make me hungry
