Had DB along with us and his family, so got a chance to do character dining that we don't normally. At times up to 7 adults, 3 children. DDE used. Lot's of new restaurants for us.

Breakfast- Donald's Breakfastosaurus The food was "ok", it was a little dark and the characters a little rushed. Don't think we would do this again.

Dinner- Ohana This was everyone's first time. We really enjoyed this. Everything was very good, the meat was excellent nothing dry, and dessert fantastic. I remember some people complaining about them rushing you, they did bring the wonton's, salad, wings, and shrimp somewhat fast, and i thought "oh no", but it was actually nice having it all there to sample and everyone settled into their favorites and we were not rushed. It is family style, and the service was very good lots of asking if we wanted more.

Breakfast- Yacht Club Galley Just DW and I. Very limited buffet and I do have to say i was disappointed. When i asked about french toast i was told i could order it through the server. I did and had to laugh when one single slice of wonder bread size showed up looking very lonely on the plate

Dinner- Artist Point The lodge was beautiful in Holiday decorations, and when we came out there was a bell choir performing, very nice. Service was great, and the manager came around to check on things. We all went with the Chef's Northwest Selection and everything was very nice. The Buffalo was a great piece of meat, and if anyone is worried it does not taste gamey at all. Almost as good as the Gunbarrel in Jackson WY.

Breakfast- Crystal Palace We enjoyed this buffet alot. A great selection in a clean bright atmosphere. The characters were not rushed and the food was fresh and great. Would do this again, probably even without kids.

Dinner- Liberty Tree Tavern Ate here before MVMCP. The food was decent, not superb but not bad either. The character interaction was possibly the best we had. Numerous rounds and plenty of time with each.

Breakfast- Beach Club Marketplace Just muffins and breakfast sandwiches.

Loonch'e- Chef's De France Oh there is a meal between breakfast and dinner? We tried lot's of different things here. Everything was good, and i'm glad we got a chance to go here finally.

Dinner- Brown Derby Quite a few kids here for those that wonder, and the wait staff was great with them, and it's noisy enough that you don't notice them. Great quality food. This was the only place we had been before and it was just good as last time.

Most surprising meals- Crystal palace breakfast, and Ohana for dinner.

Thanks for the reviews. And thanks for clearing up my thoughts about the buffalo tasting gamey. lol

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

thanks for the reviews, we have taken our kids to the Brown Derby as we have always seen children in there and to me it has never seemed to be a nice quiet romantic place...it is very noisy in there!

Enjoyed the reviews. How busy is the Beach Club Marketplace in the mornings??

It can get quite busy, earlier is better. DW went down around 10-10:30 and they had run out of a few items and because it was getting close to lunch weren't going to do more.

Also, keep in mind that there is usually someone at the second register around from the one closest to the food that most people go to.

Thanks for the reviews. DaveT1, I love Jackson, but I've never been to the Gunbarrel. Where is it? I also haven't been in over 5 years. My favorite restaurants there were the Blue Lion and Snake River Grill.

Jackson/Jackson Hole was a really cool unexpected place for us, so many great restaurants in a small area i can't remember them all. This was more comfort food than Snake River. I can't remember the Italian place we liked either.

It was on a whirlwind tour Mt Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. After all the traffic jams they caused us in Yellowstone i decided to get even with the buffalo. Wife didn't want to try it and kept shaking her head like a kid, but when she finally did she agreed it was great and started looking for it on menus.
