Ok I am a WDW and Disneyland Vet..been going to both parks since I was 2 almost every year, sometimes 2x (38 now). We are DVC members and didn't go last year so our next vacation in August we will be experiencing FP+ for the first time.
Now for the questions...
1)I was able to get FP+ for Wishes our last MK night, is it worth keeping? We have 4 children who have been going to WDW since they were born (my 13 year old has been to WDW 17 times) so im not concerned with missing out on something or having to stand on a line..i just want to make sure it's worth using a FP+ for.
2) Memory Maker...yes or no??? If i purchase it now it's $169..again just want to make sure it's worth it.

Geez I feel like a newbie, lol
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of using FP's for Wishes. For one thing, since its a nighttime reservation, you won't be able to pick up a fourth FP until Wishes is over. That and there are so many things in MK to use FP's on and you can see Wishes very well from plenty of locations.

Have you thought of joining a MM group. It helps bring the cost down. I am with one for Dec. I found mine through the Facebook group for Dec. Its about 5 families and we all pitch in the cost. I have never done MM before and I didn't want to pay that price either but I am excited now because it will only cost me about $30.

1- we like the wishes FP a lot, so my vote is to get it. We get to show up about 15 min before celebrate the magic and sit down in the back of the area. No fighting with crowds and we have a great view. On nights when we'll be there real late, we'll schedule wishes as our first or second FP so we still have one after

2- if you really care about getting all the pictures, then buy it. You could also buy attractions+ and just get the attraction photos, so no meet and greets, for $50. If you don't buy either though, you can still view all your photos within the photopass website. There you can purchase if you change your mind.

We used a FP+ for Wishes last week and it was delightful! We sat and enjoyed an ice cream about 45 minutes prior to the fireworks then stood when it was time for Celebrate The Magic. It was not at all crowded, we had plenty of space, and it was a great spot for pics. We actually did it on our last night and could not have been happier.

We did Memory Maker and ended up with almost 500 pictures. It was soo simple to view/edit/download and I love that all 3 of us are in soo many of the pictures (as opposed to one of us having to be the one to take the pic, which is usually me).

I personally say thumbs up for both as our experience with both has been hugely positive!

Thank you everyone!! I thnk i may leave our FP+ as is and enjoy the space to watch Wishes :)
Also i think i will go ahead and purchase the MM, KJ2mom..having everyone in the pictures is what convinced me..with our family of 6 either myself or my husband is always behind the camera. <3 thank you
