Firstly I am really sorry if this is the millionth post on this subject but I have started planning today and I am trying to get as much (correct) information as possible and I know how great you folks are on here :cheer2:

Firstly, we are going 9/23 - 10/5 so I know this is supposed to be a slightly quieter time. I am wondering what the best day is to visit either Studios or IOA. We have unlimited passes for both parks it's just difficult trying to figure out when the best time to go will be. :surfweb:

Any information about this or anything else you think would be useful for me to know what be appreciated :thumbsup2

Either park will see less crowds midweek (Tuesday to Thursday) and Sunday. Expect higher crowds on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. That said, late September/early October is a great time to go, and I would expect only moderate crowds at worst for the duration of your stay. :thumbsup2

Just want to remind you Halloween Horror Nights at the Studios will be staged when you're visiting. On those nights, the Studios will close an hour early at 5pm for set up. Just keep that mind when planning.

You'll be gone before the weekend so you should miss the bulk of the Columbus day crowd. However, i've noticed both WDW and Universal getting increasingly busier every year both that week and the next.

Oh yeah I forgot about that! Do you know if it's likely to be the same as Disney; being quieter on those days as people will be waiting to go in the evening? :thumbsup2

The Studios will get busier as the day wears on with HHN goers entering the park in the afternoon. Otherwise it shouldn't be too bad.

Actaully we just went last Sunday and Monday and that was true. Sunday the lines were very short and the parks not very crowded. We were shocked at how fast we got on BIG rides like Spidey, Hulk, and RRR. Monday was just the opposite, the parks were crowded from early on.

p.s. thanks Mesa and Metro for recommending not buying the EP beforehand. We really didn't need them, even on Monday
