Few Questions for On Property Stay

Ok so we finally were able to book rooms on property for the 2 night prior to the cruise we booked the Saturday after Thanksgiving while we still wait for our waitlist to come through. 2 different resorts, which is fine. So it’s Saratoga Springs to Boardwalk. We plan to spend the day in Epcot and they’re taking our luggage for us. Can we park at Boardwalk Friday morning even though we won’t be checked in yet so we can take the bus from there to Epcot and back?

Also with it being 2 different nights and wanting to ‘skip the front desk’ for check in, it looks like it wants us to get 2 different Magic Bands. Is this normal as well? And can we choose which one our park tickets would be loaded on to? And for Boardwalk’s reservation, it only gives me an option for a band for myself, not for each of us (me and my husband). For the Saratoga Spring’s reservation, it gave me the option for 2 but not a black one (can I not get black)?


Obviously we’re hoping for our WL to come through for 1 resort, 1 band and no transfer issues, but this is just in case.

There is no bus from Boardwalk to Epcot. It is an easy walk or a boat ride. Once you actually check out of SSR you can check in on line to the Boardwalk. You will be a Resort guest then, even though your room will likely not be ready until the afternoon. Once you check in you can park.
You should have the option for 2 Magic Bands for each resort.
Nothing is on any MB , it is in your MDE Account. It is like a bank account and your debit card. Your debit card can access your money in your account. Your Magic Band can access tickets etc in your MDE Account. Each Magic Band will work interchangeably.

As Hopefully said, as guests of Boardwalk, you can park at the resort. You can then walk or take the boat to EP.

With each resort stay, you get a Magic Band, so, yes, it's normal that the system is offering you two bands. If you'd like, you can decline the Boardwalk bands and just customize the SSR Magic Bands. Those bands will work for both resorts and your park tickets. Black is not an option for MB's. If you want two sets of bands, they will work interchangeably. You may want to call to see why your DH cannot customize a band for the BWV stay - is he listed on the reservation?
