Few quick questions:

If we go to a "family style" platters meal, can we request seconds on items. I know that we'll all like one thing over another, and want more on something.

Second question:
At the Norway character dinner, I assume the first "appetizer" tray is one only and my 9 yr old dd can eat from it....but she must order off of the childrens menu for her main dinner course.

With Norway, when we make an ADR, the times for dinner are listed starting at 4:20. At times "set" and they have a certain number of settings, or are the random on start at 4:20 and you can pick whatever time?

thanks

we have eaten at the garden grill in epcot and it is family style and yes we were able to request seconds on things. hope this helps

Yes, in a 'family style' meal (i.e., Ohana Breakfast or Garden Grill) you may ask for another platter of food should your family deplete the original one

The appetizer/first course at Akershus is a cold board, that is a cold buffet with cheeses, cold cuts, salads, fruit, salmon, etc on it. ALl diners are welcome to the buffet and may eat whatever they like from it. As for your daughter, she will be required to order a kids' entree (second course). The dessert platter brought to your table is designed for everyone to share.

This just means that the dinner menu, which is slightly different from the lunch menu, goes into effect at 4:20pm. The last lunch ADR slot, if i remember correctly, is something like 3pm. Inbetween they switch over to dinner service. If you call for an ADR for this location, you give them a time you would like to eat and they will try to accomodate your party at or near that time. For example, we asked for a late lunch here between 2-2:30 for our upcoming trip and we were able to book a 2:25 ADR.

HTH :thumbsup2
