Hi,

Doing a crazy 4 way split stay....BCV, Carnival, AKV, BLT.

Last leg is crazy....only 1 night at AKV..kidani and 2 nights BLT.

Tell me about TOTW....Are kids allowed we will be there for my DD's 9th b day and would love to be there.

How far a walk from Kidani to Jambo....Is it safe at night??

Lastly.....does anyone know if the menu is right at Jiko and the childrens menu has Filet Mignon....
Thanks
Kerri

Though I have not been to TOTW, I do know that it has been reported several times before that there are no age restrictions and kids are welcomed. Jiko's child menu is a Grilled Beef Filet and I doubt you can call it filet mignon as one would normally think of that cut. Front door to front door Kidani to Jambo is about 1/2 mile. Safe at night. (Can, if you want to, take bus between buildings -- park busses go Kidani to Jambo, DD bus Jambo to Kidani) Personal view: Jiko is very good but Sanaa at Kidani is even better. However, safest, if you want to have option to be able to choose American type food, is Boma, the excellent buffet restaurant at Jambo.

Thanks.....Hmmmm Sanaa.....Oh the choices.

Boma is a MUST for us every trip.....DD always goes to the kids clubs though.
She will be 9 though....and only likes Neverland and Sandcastle club.
I might have to bring a PB&J with me to Boma for her:eek:

I'll have to look at Sanaa....would love to try it.

Glad to hear it is only 1/2 mile....good way to work off the bloat from dinner:goodvibes
Thanks

We love Boma - and our daughter liked the ribs and chicken (along with rice) so we got lucky with her. We are going to Boma again this time, probably will make it a tradition.

I feel the path from Kidani to Jambo is safe, from what I remember there are lights along the path. I never have timed it, so maybe I am underestimating, but it seemed like less than 10 minutes lobby to lobby.

Walk from Jambo - Kid. Easy cake like 10 mins.

Thanks...glad to hear it is a quick safe walk:goodvibes

I can't answer your question about TOWL, although I assume you can bring kids as the front desk recommended it to us when we checked in and we obviously had a 2 yr old with us. Unfortunately in our 5 nights there, we never made it up.

The walk from Jambo to Kidani is about 5 min, although DH and I are fast walkers. But I'm pregnant and was completely exhausted at 10:30 at night and still made the walk in about 5-7 min. It is totally safe at night. We were on the bus back and some kid puked on DH's foot, the bus smelled like and the back was covered in puke. We chose to get off at Kidani and walk back to Jambo. We felt completely safe the whole time. Have fun! DH and I just did a split stay, 5 nights at BLT and 3 nights at AKV, it was quite the contrast!
