Few notes just arrived

If that is a 6 will never want to see a 7 or higher it must be impossible to even walk around.

They had been way off for this as well. I looked a few months back and never expected levels this high.

I will say I was able to get 2 additional FP yesterday at the magic kingdom so that was not bad. I think overall I do like FP+. In the past I may use 1 maybe 2 in a day but now I was able to hit all the major rides and have them scheduled out between 10am and 630pm. Even was able to grab a bite to eat in there.

Today the fast pass for space mountain was 28 minutes. Now in the fast pass for buzz light year and it starts near the entrance and goes down to the laugh floor and back even before going inside. Been waiting about 15 minutes and looks like another 15 before getting on. 30 minutes for a fast pass. Stand by just said 45 minutes how does this make any sense. I think someones math is off and fast pass should be renamed to just 10 minutes shorter line. This is crazy.

I've been ridiculed in the past for mentioning long FP+ lines. Be prepared to get flamed.

No flames, but they are not long lines all of the time. I'm trying to think if I was in a long one during my last trip, and nothing is coming to mind. If someone tries to claim they are long all of the time every day then yes, I will disagree with them.

I just remembered Buzz was really long one time. But we think something was up, as the wait times on the signs did not look like they matched the lines at all.

We just got back from 15 days and only had one long FP line (Ariel's Grotto), so it's rare IMO.

Is there some place in, I think, the American Adventure in Epcot, where if you show your Disney Visa card you can get in to some "special" area. I think maybe it's just an area in the American Adventure where you can rest or something??

Yep, it's during food and wine; there's restrooms, places to sit or stand, places to plug in electronics, and free drinks (there's one of those really neat pop machines where you can make your own flavor of drink)... plus you get to go somewhere you don't normally get to go. :wizard:

We had one fp line that appeared long and everyone was complaining (BTMRR) but it actually took only about 5 minutes to get in the ride.

I can see it backing way up if the ride goes down though.

BTMRR, Expedition Everest, Soarin are a few examples of attractions where they will utilize a cast member with a pole flag to indicate the end of the FP line because the line can grow well beyond the first FP touchpoint and it becomes visibly confusing to determine where the end of it actually is.

Yeah, I still remember when I mentioned the CM end-of-FP-line-markers over a year ago and was told I was seeing things.

I had the same thing happen in regards to the return trip with Magical Express. I had called months prior to arriving and gave them all of my info.

Just call the number and give them the info again. It doesn't take long. I don't know why they do that. :confused3 It is aggravating.

they never get flight information correct- we've done it maybe 15 times and it's never been right- its an ongoing joke in our family. They always fix it but its amusing to us lol

I am planing on useing Magical express. I hope there wont be any problems when we are there in dec. Also can any one tell me what time Magical express runs from? we might be doing an over night flight.

Oh they're not really problems- they just often have our flight information wrong- even if they don't have it right they'll still let you on the bus at the airport- they just write you up a new pass for their records.

DME basically runs 24 hours a day
If you arrive before 5:00 AM or after 10:00 PM, you'll need to collect your luggage at baggage claim and bring it with you onto the bus.

Thanks all.
I recently got the Disney Visa credit card and did not know you get 10% off if you spend over $50.:thumbsup2

We're going to the world next month and I will be sure to bring it.
Also, sorry, don't mean to get OT but I've been meaning to ask this and keep forgetting. Is there some place in, I think, the American Adventure in Epcot, where if you show your Disney Visa card you can get in to some "special" area. I think maybe it's just an area in the American Adventure where you can rest or something??

Thanks,

Karen :)
From what I have read, it is available during Food & Wine. There's also a special Illuminations, which I believe is only open during that time as well.
The rest area is upstairs at the American Adventure, and the Illuminations viewing area is in Italy (I believe). The character M&G is open all the time (opens at 1:00 PM) and is in Innovations West. Sometimes it has 2 characters, sometimes 3. I have seen pictures with 4, but rarely.
ETA: You also get a free print, which you pick up at the front of the park.

When we flew in in December, we did not have to give further information to DME other than what we originally gave. Our flight time did change, so we called to change the info with MDE, but no other communication was required. We always check at the front desk when we arrive to make sure we're on for the return trip to the airport. You also get your MDE packet the morning of (the day before) you are to depart, so if it does not arrive, go to the front desk.

Thanks all.

Yeah, I still remember when I mentioned the CM end-of-FP-line-markers over a year ago and was told I was seeing things.

They moved the FP+ touch points at Star Tours to get the line out of the middle of the walkways. But for some here lines in walkways was "no big deal".

Just wanted to mention that if you show your Disney Visa Credit Card AND Reward Card at the Visa Character Meet and Greet, you will receive two free prints!
