Few firsts, friends & H. P. an Oct. TR - New 3/4 - THE END...

I can't believe how crowded it was! Were you able to see the MSEP another night? I hope so!

Too bad dinner was just okay -- the bbq shrimp does sound fantastic, though!

Great Update Scott !!We enjoyed the Riverboat in October !!! Are you still going October 2011!! I should be there with the Group of DD people !!!

"Please stand clear of the doors...Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas."

I can just picture us standing there waiting to board. :)

I love palm trees.

Me, too! :goodvibes

I think it is interesting to look at the kids in the background pictures of the characters. One little girl is enthralled with Daisy, and a little boy looks like maybe he missed out on getting Pluto's autograph.

Naps in the afternoon is one of the reasons I  staying onsitel. SOOOO convenient to get back to the resort.

A 40 minute wait for an ok meal stinks. It's terrible that the apps were better than the entree. Hmmmm, I wonder if it was just that entree or the entire menu.

that store is awesome.
:lmao: he did handle it well for the most part. some parts he did duck and gasp.
it was great and if u ever go there ask to sit there.

 it was. it was very nice the whole week just HOT.
ooh hope to see you.

I didn't mind the wall. It will be fun when it is done. I don't know if it will be busy or not. If they built a new park I think that would get more people in.
Vinny is usually good with pics but sometimes he is in a rush.
Are you enjoying the camera?
it was nice and yes it was fun watching the people.

Thanks. It was good and glad we went. If we go again we will do lunch again.

OMG, I LOVE the camera!! Thanks so much for your reviews and posting pics, video, etc. I'm a little nervous with all the cleaning of the gaskets that you have to do. But I will follow all directions and hopefully not end up drowning my camera on the cruise!

I see the crowds. YIKES!! I love riding the ferry over to MK....unless it's cold. :rotfl:

On the TTA I usually come out with better pics if I use the sports setting on the camera! :thumbsup2 It's not perfect but it does help with the blur.

That stinks about your "cajun" meal. We hate when we go other places and taste their version of our food. It's usually not the same at all!! Now the hurricane.....maybe you should have sucked that bad boy down BEFORE the meal came. Then you wouldn't know the difference! :thumbsup2

ok, better late than never! do you remember me? I was one of those who backed you up when you were "concerned" about the monorails running during your GF trip. then they were refurbishing it. how was that trip, anyway?
hubby nebo has a TR going (oils well to Jingle bells). we were there in early dec. COLD!!! brr! ok, going back to page 2 of your TR to catch up!

did you eat at tony's? we have had (and canceled) ressies there more times than I can count

sorry you had a bad exp. at Boarwrights. I really liked the prime rib there.

we do love por. love the boat ride to DTD.

don't they have the lobster tail at Capt jacks anymore/ that is the only reason we ate there. I am surprised there is no lobster at coral reef.... hubby got the steak and it was very bad. but the lobster tails were scrumptious!

love earl of sandwich!

while I LOVE COP, they really need to either change the last scene, or add a new one. it;s just not very "futuristic" anymore.

of course, the "purist" in me says "leave it alone".

it really did get crowded. Unfortunately no. It was a bummer that we missed it.
it was really good and if I went back I would order just that.

Thank you.
Yes we are. 10/15 - 1022. what r your dates?

I can just picture us standing there waiting to board. :)

Me, too! :goodvibes

I could picture myself doing it to when I saw the pic.
I never really looked at them. It is. He probably did as I think Pluto was going in.

so true.
Yes it does. I wonde rif it is because it was the end of the night for them. Maybe earlier it is better.

Glad you like it. I have yet to clean mine but I have only had it int he pool.

:scared1:
It was fun to ride it over. In the cold I guess it would not be so fun.
Yeah that does help but I think I had it on the intellectual auto which it really is not. :lmao:
:rotfl2: that is a good idea if I ever go back there.

ok, better late than never! do you remember me? I was one of those who backed you up when you were "concerned" about the monorails running during your GF trip. then they were refurbishing it. how was that trip, anyway?

:welcome:
I was going to stay at GF once but we ended up somewhere else. Must be that time because they had a whole bunch of construction going on.
I did start reading it but I am very slow with tr's. I keep a list of the ones I am reading with pages I left off on. I will catch up on your hubby's. Welcome again.

we did and it was quite good. we enjoyed it.
Maybe if I go back I should try that. Has to bitter than the jambalaya
everything else but the buses was really good. It was our 3rd time there and we enjoyed all of it. The boat ride is fantastic.

I think they took it off. I did not see that all.
My review of Coral Reef will be coming up later. It changed from last time if any of you remember.
Earl I have walked in and walked out. I have yet to try it.

I agree it should be updated but I also think leave it alone.

Day 4 began and Vinny got coffee from the "Mill" while I showered and got dressed. We had a first for us breakfast this morning. We go to the bus stop and before we get there we see lines upon lines. We do not even go to the buses and just go to bell services for a cab. She tells me the people in front of me are next and then us. "Ok". A cab comes within 2 minutes and they get in. 2 minutes later another cab pulls up. The guy gets out and says someone's name but not mine and he gets back in and pulls up. Vinny goes over and says we called for one to the Grand Floridian and he pulled away. (I think he worked in New York City before going there). :lmao: So the lady sees this and said that was our cab and I tell her what happened. She calls them back and she said the next one is ours. It was and we are now on our way. The ride was quick and it cost $16.00 with the tip.

We walk in and go over to the restaurant. We check in and are told to wait. The wait was about 3 minutes.
Disney2010489.jpg

We are seated and are told about the buffet. Here is Vinny all happy.
Disney2010491.jpg

We were seated around 8:10 and the first character came at 8:02 and the first character came around 8:46, it was a long wait for characters.

First was

Disney2010495.jpg

I was getting cranky waiting for the characters.
Disney2010496.jpg

9:02 was time for. She was very good.

That photo was taken at 9:15 and we were out the door after that. It was a nice breakfast and it would have cost us $44.71 but the characters need to move a little quicker.

I am going to stop.

Up next...

Epcot and Food and Wine.

Glad you were able to get a cab relatively easily and not have to wait in those bus lines!

Wow! An hour and fifteen minutes to see all the characters??? That's ridiculous! I would have been getting cranky, too! Cute pictures with everyone, though! :goodvibes

I hate getting to the bus stop and there is a crowd :sad2: but we have never thought to take a cab.

I love 1900 Park Fare.

I thought so too. I did find it worth it character wise.
