DH and I have a debate going on - What are the 4 animal sections at the Festival of the Lion King show at AK? And which lead character represents each aminal?

someone could correct me if i am wrong, but isn't it: lion (simba), elephant, giraffe & warthog (pumba). hope this helps! :flower:

The four sections are the giraffes *giraffe float*, the warthogs *Pumbaa float*, the elephants *elephant float*, & the lions *Simba float*. I got the information off here . Hope that helps!

Thanks everyone! Do you know which of the lead singers represented each animal? Like, I think the *older* female was the elephant, etc...

If I remember correctly, the older (pooh size) female is in the warthog section, the younger female is the giraffe, the lead male (who sings during the fire batton) is the elephant section, and the other male is the lion. I think thats how it went.

Spelling on these names may be off:

Keyume ("Masculine and Strong" ... leader of the group) - Elephant Section
Nikawa ("good looking" ... other male singer) - Lion section
Zawatee ("The Gift") - Warthog section
Kabibi ("Princess") - Giraffe section

And, just as a bonus, the swahili terms for each of the animals:
Lion - Simba
Elephant - Tembo
Giraffe - Twiga
Warthog - Pumbaa

Hi there SW/Eric

I looked for you when I was at AK recently. I shared that special bench back by the Safari with a young man who works the front. He was mildly retarded and totally adorable. He is a bit too short and a bit too tall to be a character which is his fondest dream.

A young woman, on crutches, from the Paris DW also visited with us. She spoke several languages and loved to take pictures so I was trying to figure out how she could get a job doing that for Disney on a global basis so she could indulge her love of all things Disney.

Wish you could have joined us. See you in the Spring!

I love this show!!! Both times I have seen it, I ended up in the Lion section. Next time, I want to be a warthog! :rotfl:
