Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I have a question about the Lion King show at AK, or rather, about the work to enclose the theater.
From what I have seen, the show is set to be closed until 9/19 (and presumably re-opening the next day or very soon thereafter). My question is: What are the chances that the enclosing of the theater will run behind schedule and the show will re-open later?
We will be at AK on 9/26 (and possibly hopping to AK on other days of our stay) and this is the #1 thing on our list to do. DD4 LOVES The Lion King (we have a cat named Simba...
) and would really enjoy this show, I think.
I was just wondering if Disney refurbishments/construction usually run on schedule or if there is a history of them running behind? We're cutting it awfully close with our dates and I just want to have some realistic expectation of whether we'll be disappointed. Thanks!!
