The title says it all - we are going to the Festival of the Holidays and have never been to Epcot before. I plan to hand each of our kids a gift card so they can snack around the world. I just want to make sure the booths aren't outside vendors who maybe don't take Disney gift cards? Thanks all!

Here are this years ...

"New this year is the exclusive Disney Gift Card wristlet artwork showcasing Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse taking over the kitchen to create culinary masterpieces. These delightful cards are available at merchandise locations throughout EPCOT during the festival. Use them to pay easily at Global Marketplaces, merchandise locations, and anywhere Disney Gift Card is accepted!"

I find the GC to be the easiest way to pay. I usually load one up and use it exclusively.

Funny that they say new this year because I have one of these “wristlets” from years ago that I still use. Unless they mean the artwork then I guess that’s new

I used these wrist cards at the Flower and Garden festival this year and loved them. I had a couple of Visa gift cards and just had them loaded into the wrist card and it was so handy to pay for everything. Easy to re-load too, and usable anywhere...even in the gift shops.

The wristlet gift cards are the best. I loaded one at the first gift shop inside Epcot. So easy just to lift my wrist up to pay with it.

Will the booths also use magic bands for payment so you can just charge to your room??

Yes - but only for the official Disney resort hotels. For example, if you are staying at Swan/Dolphin, you cannot charge back to your room through the bands.
