Fess Up….Who still does this?

I saw this on Instagram this morning and it made me chuckle.

I still have Disney Dollars here (I keep one in my wallet), I still call HS “MGM Studios“ and a bonus thing that shows my age….I still call Disney Springs “Disney Village“ or “The Village” (I think DD20 does too sometimes since she hears my DH and I say it).

So…..Who’s with me?

Nice to see your signature clips back, Sandy. :thumbsup2

i still have a book of disneyland a-e tickets as well as a wdw non expiring ticket that was bought for ds (almost 27 now) when he was a child. there's still one day left on that ticket-he used a few days on it a handful of years back so i hung on to it in the event we ever return.

No eticket books, but I have my daughter‘s ticket from out 1st trip. It has 1 day left on it too. She was 8 when we went. She just turned 39. 😊

I don’t have any Disney dollars left. Shopping at Disney was my favorite, so I’m sure I spent them as soon as I could.

It took my brain a while to switch from saying MGM & Downtown Disney. I think I’m finally there :upsidedow

I do get confused for a second or two when there are news stories about DTD in California and think they are referring to Florida.
Same!

Also wish Pleasure Island was still around. I remember it being a hopping spot for locals, then we started going to City Walk at Universal.

We still say Downtown Disney all the time. It was fairly recently that we finally stopped saying MGM, but it will come out that way when we're reminiscing about old trips.
Just the other day, I was talking about riding the Wedway peoplemover. That's the first thing that pops into my mind when describing that ride.
Every once in a while, I'll describe some areas of Universal as Nickelodeon Studios, but not as often as we used to. I did recently when I was talking about where the HHN houses were located.
Somewhere around here, DH has a couple of ticket books from Disneyland. I wish I had ours from our trip in the 70s. I do still have a few large brochures on the Contemporary, where we stayed, and the Polynesian. and I have my day pass tickets from our trip in 80s.
I think it's cool that people still refer to rides as e-ticket attractions, like the old book days.

I still have all of the maps and such from the resorts that we have stayed at from all of our trips. It’s amazing when I look at the material that they used to give you at check in. It really set the tone and generated a lot of excitement especially for our kids.

I have a couple of Disney Dollars that I got for the '92 scrapbook, one to show the front and one to show the back-I'll bet Disney made a mint off people like me, Lol.

And yes, when I'm talking to my sister I still refer to the Studios as MGM, because she does. But then, she also says 'Tap Mac' when she means 'use the ATM.'

We definitely have a couple of Disney Dollars in a photo album. DS used to get them in his Christmas stocking, plastic Easter eggs, etc. if we were nearing a trip. - fond memories 😊

I definitely still think of Disney Springs as Downtown Disney, and DH actually has a T-shirt that says "It's still MGM to me!"

I still call it Disney Springs from time to time.

It's either "MGM" or "Studios" to me. The fully name is frankly too cumbersome to say.

I definitely still call it "Downtown Disney" on both coasts.
