Just thinking about further trips to Paris and beyond - as I'm toying with the idea of Eurocamp and a small visit to DLRP within that. The ferry to Amsterdam (IJmuiden) is very convenient for us with the car - literally 15 mins drive. Sadly, there are no other stops offered from our local DFDS port!
So, just wondering whether it would be quicker/less hassle to get ferry to IJmuiden and drive through the continent to get to Paris or drive down to Dover and get the ferry to Calais?
Anyone gone via Amsterdam before?
I just don't fancy the drive down to Dover or Eurotunnel in the UK as the roads are always so busy and it's a long way for us! And I've heard that driving on the continent is much less stressful/busy?
