We leave in 3 weeks for WDW, I have a reservation at the vet to board our two Ferrets... they really aren't equipped to house them so we are bringing a cage ourselves... I boarded one of them there last year but I have my doubts that they let him out to play, plus it's probably going to cost me $250!

I don't know anyone who'd be willing (most think they are rats) or capable of watching them (Ferrets are unique animals!!)

Any suggestions? Alternatives? Or better yet, any Ferret lovers in the Delaware vicinity that would be willing to Ferret-Sit for 10 days in June???

We luckily have a family member willing to take care of ours, but if it wasn't for her, I would be in your position.

Try a sitting service, that is bonded and insured. Make sure they have employees that are familiar with ferts. If they don't maybe ask them to recommend something.

Also, you local or county shelter may have suggestions as well.

10 days is along time for them not to play, but they will survive it. Just make sure they have toys they won't tear apart out of boredom (mine have done that on cage and room cleaning days), but they have their own room 24/7, so they aren't really even use to cages.

Good luck to you. You may also ask the Disney kennel, if they can recommend someone in their area, if you are interested in taking them with you.
