When are the maintenance fees due? I didn't get a letter yet and am ready to pay but don't know when.

They are due 1/15/2009 and are considered late after 2/14/2009. We got our statement today, but you can view and pay on-line.

NOTE: If you have AKV points for a unit at Kidani Village or BLT points, you won't get a statement until just before/after the occupany date of your unit.

FYI - if you have the Disney Visa card you can use your reward dollars to pay your dues. I have enough to pay 1/2 of my dues.

I just have my dues taken out of my checking account. Its amazing how much less it hurts this way.

So if I pay them on the 28th of January in full they are late but it is ok? Is there a penalty for being late? I guess I don't understand if they are due on the 15th what happens after that?

Here's the information as printed on the back of the statement:

FEES:
Any payments received after the Past Due After date will be subject to late fees in the amount of $25.00 per contract plus interest at the maximum rate permitted by applicable law accrued from the original Payment Due date. To avoid these late charges, please allow at least 7 days mailing time.

As long as you pay by 2/14/2009, you should be okay.

I believe that if you attempt to make a reservation after 1/15 and your dues are not paid, they will require to pay them over the phone before they will confirm the reservation. Also at some point they will cancel any open reservations if your dues are unpaid.
