I had to change my cruise reservation using DVC points from December to January. I was under the impression I would only have to pay another $75.00. They charged me tw $75.00 fees. One as a non-refundable transaction fee and one as a modification fee. Is this correct?

Thanks,
Dawn

I'm curious about Gail's answer. As I understand it, if you pay your $75.00 fee at the time of the reservation, changes to the reservation can be made for an additional $75.00 fee for each change. If I understand correctly, there is no fee for cancelling a reservation. If you cancel and then rebook for the new dates, I believe you would just pay a second $75.00 fee to make the new reservation.

There should be two $75 fees. The way I read it the poster thinks their getting charged three times the $75 fee which is not appropriate. I'm sure this is just the wording of the CM and the total costs will be $150 for the old and new reservation.

Maybe things have changed, but I changed my cruise details. Moving from an inside to an outside cabin, I was only charged $75. I had paid the first $75 when I booked my inside and another $75 when I changed. I understood that you had to only pay the $75 once for each DVC transaction.
