My Ds Ben ( 23 months)has gone to stay at nannys for the first time tonight :cool1: she came for lunch and collected him a couple of hours ago and now the house just feels quiet, its so stange i thought it would be great to have an afternoon to myself, but i don't quite know what to do with myself!! When ever i've been without him overnight before ,he has stayed here with nanny and we have been away not the other way round :sad2:

Looking forward to dh coming home and having a nice meal ( uninterrupted) as it's our wedding anniverary  and then we are off to London for the day tomorrow so will not pick Ben up until saturday lunchtime so 2 lie in's bliss ;)

I know he will be fine as nanny is definately his favourite person, it's just me who is feeling odd!!

I hope you really enjoy yourselves tonight - the funny thing is that you'll probably talk about him all night :)

Happy Anniversary

Mandy :)

I hope you have a lovely evening. Make sure you make the most of those lie ins!!

I can't leave my DD just yet (12 months). Enjoy the free time!

I find I'm horribly torn between wanting some me time and wanting my daughter. I couldn't leave her overnight, but I'm dying for a decent night's sleep!!

Have fun! I can understand that it's weird when you have some peace and quiet! I feel strange when Shelby has gone to bed sometimes at night I am like hmmmm I'm bored now! ha ha!

Let us know what you got up to in London!

I hope you had a good evening and a lie in (though probably you were awake waiting as usual).

Enjoy the rest of your time 'off!'

Hope you had a fab time, I must admit, feel like I've lost a leg or something when Callums away

Have a lovely time. My dd is 4 and I always feel odd when I am in the hosue and she is not here. Time seems to go so much slower and I don't know what to do with my self.

I don't think it gets any better, my Mum cried when I left for Uni, cried when I moved to Reading and now plans to move from Southport to somewhere near me!

Have a lovely lovely night!
