I am not a patient person anyway, so waiting on this ROFR is driving me crazy.... tomorrow will only be a week since they sent it over..... I so wish this whole process could be faster.... like waiting for Christmas to arrive when you are a kid!

Amen!! We're on day 11 and I feel the same way. We keep hearing news about how many contracts were taken in January on ROFR, and think "oh no! what if we have to start over??"

Mine took a little over 20 days, and it was so hard to wait. I was stalking the ROFR thread, and seeing so many pass more quickly made me worried, but thankfully ours passed. It seems that people who submitted just after mine are waiting even longer than I did.

DH and I have wanted to add BCV to our existing AKV for a few years now, so once we finally decided to go for it waiting to see if it would all happen was difficult.

unless things have changed, Tuesday used to be the big day for notifications. The wait is brutal, but don't worry, when you are scratching the add-on-itis itch, it is not as bad for subsequent contracts, when you already have one in the bank

You should be able to cancel the cash (ok, actually credit card with only a deposit actually charged) reservation and get all the money back. At least, I hope that's how it works!

You usually only have to pay for the first night up front, and can cancel up to four days out or something like that, without penalty. The Balance is due at check in

Check the cancellation policy, but it is not that much money out of pocket to make a reservation for thanksgiving just as a backup

Well. Wednesday was 2 weeks. Still waiting!! I did email my person at Fidelity and she said they haven't heard anything !!

We passed on 3/6! Now waiting for the estoppel. I've heard estimates from 2-4 weeks for this. MORE WAITING! argh.

How long did your rofr take? What is estoppel? Congrats on making it thru!

submitted 2/17, passed 3/6 so just over 2 weeks. Estoppel is a document Disney sends to the title company that shows all the details - who they show as the legal owner, if any mortgage is owed on it, are the taxes & dues paid, how many points are avail, etc... They make the closing documents from this info.
