...I really need to get meals planned but need to keep costs down as we haven't saved as much as we had hoped and to be honest 500e on food for 3 days was taking the mick somewhat.

We def want to do Inventions and Auberge ... so any suggestions on how you would plan to keep costs down but still eat well would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Oh - and when can I reserve tables? Is it 8 or 6 weeks before?

It's 60 days out.

You're staying at the DLH, yes? So you could manage it on two meals a day - ie go to the parks for EMH then come back about 9:45-10am for a late breakfast, then have an early dinner - although I realise this won't work for your Auberge day. And if Rosebug can't manage without lunch you could always get her something or take snacks with you for her.

This is an idea and a half. What time do they stop serving breakfast at DLH?

We "could" grab a snack and drink at Salon Mickey around 9am (am I remembering right that it opens at 9am? Or is it 9:30am?) and then go back for breakfast at the latest possible time on 2 of the days - Auberge day we will need a big breakfast as we eat very little at Auberge ;)

Having a late breakfast means I have shaved about 100e off our total and this is the plan:

Sunday night – Annettes
Monday Breakfast – DLH @ 7am
Monday Lunch – Auberge @ 12pm
Monday Evening - Cafe Mickey after park closes (share pizza)
Tuesday Breakfast – DLH as late as possible
Tuesday Lunch – Blockbuster Café @ 2pm (feed Rosebug - we'll have coffee & cake)
Tuesday Evening – Buffalo Bills
Wednesday Breakfast – DLH as late as possible
Wednesday Lunch – Hakuna Matata @ 2pm
Wednesday Evening – Inventions @ 6pm

Do you think this could work?

11am. I'd aim to get there by 10:15am at the latest - it's such a lovely breakfast that you won't want to rush it.

I think that your plan could easily work, as one day we had brekkie at 8, ate lunch at 2( we brought in a small snack for us while waiting in line to see Santa's village) and had dinner at 7. I kept some snacks on us that we brought from home, that seemed to help my DD and my DH not be grumpy.

Thanks guys!

Not long now til I have to reserve our meals so I think that will be the rough plan. I can't remember what time the park closed and what time the parades were on when we were last there in Feb. Any ideas?
